    Really excellent content. I’ve always made elderberry syrup but now I’m excited to add fire cider and fermented garlic honey to the cabinet! Thank you!

    7:45 lmaoo i once poisoned myself with elderberries that grew next to my house when i was like 8. thought they were fine because my great gran always made tea with the flowers.

    we have this home remedy against dry coughs and sore throats where you chop an onion, put it in a jar, and put in like 3 or 4 tablespoons of sugar. you'd keep it out for a day or so (just until the sugar mostly dissolved, stirring can help), and then store it in the fridge. onion syrup! zwiebelsaft! you just take a teaspoon as needed. however now i am an unusually big enjoyer of onion syrup. my partner thinks it's disgusting 😂

    Mountain Rose herbs had a great sale on their dried elderberries this year. I usually pay $34/lb but this year they were $17/lb
