it sounds like witchcraft gives you some designated room to truly be yourself and meet your own needs, even if those things might not be understood or accepted externally. beautiful, relatable stuff. thanks for sharing your story - it helps me to do my own storytelling and better give myself that space, too

I love the honesty and vulnerability that you bring. This is such a lifelong process that it’s hard to keep it all connected, but you keep it concise and so understandable. I feel like you’re helping me see my path in a new light.

Wow thanks for your honesty & for telling how you came to be a witch. I feel it’s similar to my story. I’m 70 & finally got what was for me just last autumn. I don’t remember ever feeling so much like “yes❗️” this is it❗️ it was after I went with my family to research our ancestors in Florida in May 2023. That shifted me somehow.

I'm so proud of you for opening up, being honest and so vulnerable. I always enjoy videos on hearing peoples journeys to the craft. That's SO cool that you have another practicing witch in the family. My Mom's side of the family is a little witchy, my Grandma was into astrology a little bit and aparently she could astral project. About 2 weeks ago I started to clean out my Mom's storage bedroom since she past late last year, I found a box full of old family papers, military cards, photos etc. I found old Llewellyn astrology chart papers my Grandma was mapping out. She had hers and she didn't finish her husbands chart but the interesting part is that she mapped out the bibles astrology.

@@Thewoodlandwitch Totally! I plan on using some of these items on an ancestor altar. I found a small picture of my Mom when she was 16 (when it was 1976) and I wondered how she was doing then, what was plaguing her if any, what was she into or loving at that time. I found a small Bible that was passed down by someone I am unsure if it was a family member or a friend but there were dried flowers, notes etc. I found two Psalms with the note "protection, safety" I was like "..Ok witch in the family I see you" 😂🤣😂🤣

Thank you for openly sharing your story. It is quite personal, and many other people would not have been this open. I am sure that like myself, there are others who can relate to parts of it. Glad you found your path witchcraft has saved a lot of us. Welcome back we have missed you.

Do only catholics celebrate the Easter bunny and Santa? I thought Christians did as well? Or was that just the time your parents decided to lay it all out? 😂

Loved the video by the way! I connect to this a lot. As an addict I have been trying to build a life outside of addiction. I have a few good people in my life but even them I don't always feel that deep connection with. They are great people but not someone who feels like my soul family. This has led to my spiritual journey as well. And trying to find myself outside all the labels and restrictions life puts on us!

No they absolutely do! The church we went to though felt like it was taking away from the true celebration of Jesus around those times of year so that’s why they chose to just drop all those bombs. 🤣
