i love how at the begining you clarify that you use herbalism as a medicinal remedy for *specific* situations. its easy to fall down a rabbit hole of crunchy moms thinking herbs can cure cancer, and that the modern medicine system is just a conspiracy or something, and its great youre helping get rid of that stigma and misconception around herbalism. keep making awesome videos!!

I started studying at Common Wealth Holistic Herbalism. They are great and like the one you study at are for life. They also have stand alone courses very reasonably priced. What I like about them is they have no deadlines when you start a course it is at your own pace. So having 3 children makes it less stressful while learning. Plus it is all online! I just love sharing this knowledge when I can. ❤️

I wish when I was 15 someone had told me about naturopathic schools, then you can be qualified for homeopathy as well as herbs 🙂

Just found your site, looks very interesting. As a forriger for nearly fifty years, I found myself getting into Herbalism, like yourself modern medicine was not doing me any favours, almost killing me. Have a knowledge of plants was a big step forward, I was able to study and try idears. The hardest thing with Herbalism is convincing people that it works, I have million miles to learn but that what I want. I call it block building, building up my information, and really exploring every angle. It's great hearing about other people's idears, but difficult because some plants just don't grow in England. I really love my local forridging, and now see the fields as a vital resource, a larder giving so much, I now feel part of the seasons, and understand the harsh reality of nature. The sad part is seeing what we are loosing, and not being able to do a thing. I look forward to reading and watching your work.

Herbal academy courses are not for unlimited access, you have to pay more to extend after that. Chestnut does have unlimited access on demand, there is a mini course for them.

I have really been like the school of evolutionary herbalism with Sajah Popham & Commonwealth School of Herbalism with Katja and Ryn (plus chestnut), all of those have unlimited access and full videos with the content which I also liked. Thank you for your videos I am loving them, and I am so excited about your gorgeous new branding…in basically 🤤 over those labels!!!!

That is the Auto Immune Disease that causes an inability to process glycogen? I would look at herbs that are good for helping against hyperglycemia (ones that have hypoglycemic properties). Definitely check contraindications. There are studies on things like bitter melon/gourd, Hibiscus sabdariffa, cinnamon, etc. Many of those herbs are used by Diabetics, but it's also a good idea to look at what organs are affected and take things to help tone. Diet might be just as influential in the health of the body as herbs. Definitely something to chat with your doctor about.
