in 1988 there were 167 players in the main event. to put that in perspective, last year was the largest turn out for the main event in history and that was 10,043 players.

TONY G: "Ofcourse i lied. its poker" . Poker integrity is an oxymoron. No honour amongst thieves. So no matter how many scandals, we will watch poker the same way we watch mafia movies.

Shady dude. He's getting info when he looks down on his lap. Got to be his phone. Or some other electronic signal . But from where? From who ? Which means another person. The cheat dismisses the allegations. But he did cheat. In the old days he'd be planted in the desert. He deserved to face consequences, but in America, these pukes get a pass.

There are many ways to set up a legit home game for any stakes the players want to play. Just find a legitimate dealer, there are hundreds all around in the card rooms you play at every day. And yes, some might say they can't because they don't want to risk their license, but you will find one that would be willing to deal. You all pay that dealer the same amount out of your own pockets and allow for a tip pool as well. Dealer brings the chips, the cards, and no one else is allowed to touch them. This scenario happens all across the country all the time, I know because I've watched and played in these kinds of games. Letting the "host" of the game manage the game, or someone that none of the other players has ever met is just a case for being scammed.

He's not polarizing, he's at the bottom of the range completely. No one has him at the top of their range of humans on earth, therefore, he's just a rag that gets lucky sometimes.
