Cant sleep in the van anymore with all that stuff 😢 How do you sleep?
Anybody out there, I'm buying a 2020 Transit 250 (high roof, extended length). Who's a good provider for commercial insurance? Thanks in advance. All that moving you do with freight in your van, Brandon, is a good workout. That's important the older you get.
Progressive is the main one but there are others I’m not able to speak on them. But progressive is expensive
Yeah I don’t mind it. People tip sometimes too. So that’s a plus
@@ExpeditingAmerica Thanks man. I'm at BiBerk's website going through their quote form. We'll see what it says. I'll call around over the next few days.
So, you aren't the van owner? Seems like quite a bit off right off the top for that. Still decent money tho. I'd take it. What was your food expense that trip, and where do you shower?
In the old episodes I was just driving for a fleet owner, then I took over the payments from someone getting out of expediting on a lease to own agreement, then I blew my engine, drove for a fleet owner again and now I’m back in my old truck with a rebuilt engine. This expediting was an experience and while I felt I was making okay money it wasn’t worth it looking back. Not this FTL expedited freight lane anyway. Not unless you got a solid connect with a brokerage or a certain lane
@ExpeditingAmerica I'm thinking of getting in, but I want to make dang sure I can make it work before I shell out my limited start up capital on a rig, but need the rig to get started. I'm thinking like you, have a sleeping area to avoid hotel expenses. The recruiter I spoke with is with a freight load outfit a couple hours drive from me in the Houston area. He makes it sound so easy to get started, and I always get nervous if it sounds too good to be true. I gotta do something tho, but this first step I have to get right, I'd hate to hastily go out and buy a van, then it not work out and I'm stuck with it. I wish I was more of a "just do it and adjust on the fly" person, but I'm more of an over analyzer which can be worse at times.
Thanks for all the great videos. Happy 4th
Buckeyes. Even if all you buy is a coffee, stretch your legs wake up a bit. I
do u ever fly home when u need a break
where is home?
Bless up brother lmk when you on NJ again 💪 I’ll show you the best places to eat 🤣
Do you use a farming?
Farming? What’s that? Like cows etc
Do you think 65 is to old to start expediting?
Lookin good. Keep up the great work. 🙏🏽🏆💯 I'm also now on the road in my 2021 Ford Transit High Roof Extended. South Florida (Where I live since 1992) to New Hampshire last week, then Massachusetts to JFK Airport NY. Van is In Pennsylvania now. Flew back to FL real quick. Back on the road on Monday.
I can’t believe people are paying to ship modern brown furniture, in the U.K. I can’t give the stuff away!
Another great video
WHO THIS COMPANY AND ARE THEY IN EVERY STATE, IM IN KY/TN STATE LINE??
It’s called truly blessed. Only 7 drivers at the moment. They do Otr routes and aren’t expanding at the moment.
It has to be Texas. 75 is a serious death trap.
Great video
I bet u saving a lot of money on insurance now right ?
I would like to visit Wisconsin Dells and surrounding. If posible. I heard there is a lot of nature and think it a good spot.
The walkway inside the church is like a giant Saint George's Cross. Not many people know that Georgia was set up as a buffer state between the British Colonies and Spanish Florida. The people brought over from England to colonize Georgia were from debtors prisons in Britain.
Cool
Thinking you should get a bigger truck, but bigger truck means e-logs stopping at weigh stations and alot more bull sh@t.
I just added more space by extending the deck. I might get a trailer that’s 5x7 so not as much drag. But so far it’s working out. Once I get more time to work on my bed and a few other things I’ll be good
Any companies that hire drivers with no van?
Did you grow up with colored folk? You sound like a OG
wow simple to follow and same time im doing my schedules
Great video 👍 👍
How is the van running?
TTFBJ!
Following since day one ur content getting better and better man keep it up
Thank you. I get nervous putting out a different format and not focusing so much on how much I make in every video.
6:27 bubba Jo: "I'll help you finish that ravioli broski no worries!!!"
Lmfaoooo all that sauce and lobster woulda had him blowing up the van later. He def got a treat after tho.
Where do you get your oil changed other than the dealership? My 2023 MB 2500 w 170WB will be delivered on 7/1 so I can hit the streets. I'm so excited.
Truly Blessed...
Correct thanks for paying attention :)
Couldn't make out what she said, thanks.
This is my dream job. hopefully one day
If it’s meant to be it will be done my friend. I pray success for you either way. Best of luck. Thank you for watching.
Much love and respect to you and Bubba jo
Much love always man thank you for tuning in again
Looks like you’re still working for someone else and depending on a check a week ?? Why do t you just do your own thing already and get your own loads and furniture? Dot. Take it the wrong way.
I get paid per job. Not weekly. The company lines it all up for me and I’m able to do side work too. It’s been 2 months and it’s working out better than before. It’s also a new and growing company with room to move up and get more involved or who knows I might do my own thing. Also hard to approach a company with one van trying to fulfill their shipments. Once I start saying I can’t do it they move on to the next. Which is why it helps having a network of drivers. The company is small and it’s working out for now. I’m building my side clientele and it’s working well.
Also I’ve tried booking my own loads. Bidding and driving and going on hikes with bubba, doing KZread as well as other side projects would be hard to do. I don’t mind allowing them to book, set up the route, etc.
Good for you man. All praise hopefully one day you can grow. Best of luck to you!!
@@SprinterMann thank you! Do you have a channel too? With a name like that you gotta know your stuff.
Looks like you and your buddy are doing well. It looks like your van gets very full. Are you able to use your bunk, or how are you getting a good night's rest? I'm going to redo my Sprinter and looking for new ideas. Currently I have a twin XL behind the Captins side running towards the rear. The bunk is hinged and folds up against the wall. I'm 6'2", so placing the bed cross ways is a little short. Sleeping in the seat is horrible! I try to avoid this at all cost. Thanks for the content, love it...
I watch every vid you put out.. keep it up. If you ever decide to hire drivers. I would love to work with you
You’ve found a great niche in furniture hauling! Keep it up!
Dem crocs though 😂 8:33
Bro are you leasing the van? Or is it provided by your dispatch?
No I’m making payments on it.
I think a subscriber had him take over the payments
Great video. Looks like a great job, traveling.
Noce noce
Seems like your load booker gets everything off uship. Pretty cool. More money is always cool.
in the last episode I explained it we contract through chairish.com first dibs and a few other furniture retailers. I get my side loads from uship tho.
I love this for you. You seem to enjoy it. Praying for safe travels
❤️
Hi just wanted to know what is minimum insurance I need to deliver stuff? Prices are insane🤯. Thanks love what you do.🙏🏻
To do expedite you need usually a $1,000,000/$100k policy. Dependent upon who you work with. I just carry a $10,000 policy on goods through a 3rd party but this lane is different for every company you ship with. Insurance is a profit killer in expediting especially in some states like Florida.
Keep up the good honest work. I enjoy watching you travel and do what you do. Plus bubba is a dude
I think my wife watched that HG TV show. She’s always watching that crap haha
How did you find this work?
That’s hilarious! I tried to look for it and couldn’t find the episode
@@ExpeditingAmerica I found it on porn hub
@@ExpeditingAmerica I bet she can find it
I miss the money breakdowns. Seems like more of a selective business. Gotta be very careful with the freight. All seems delicate
I hear ya. I will do a breakdown of my routes, time on the road, miles traveled, expenses, and net.
@@ExpeditingAmerica I understand. I watch mainly for the sights and to kill time when at work. Thanks for the videos
@@DeeHarrisOH thank you
You made a few funnies in this one! Made me giggle
Glad you enjoyed it Fred
@@ExpeditingAmerica keep it coming
