    So pentatonic in that run bending the 7 to the 9 and then pivoting on that 7 to start the descending run down. I think. Nice!!!

    Ignore the hate man, this was very nicely done. As someone who practices very similar licks I know how damn hard it is to get it sounding smooth with no distortion. And I checked out some of your other stuff, you can fucking play!

    I’ve had it for about a month. The basic clean sound is great. Reverb is good but a little too bright. The tremolo sounds awesome… but … I HATE that the controls are hidden. They should be on the pedal like a real Fender amp. As a result I don’t use the tremolo. Instead I have a dedicated tremolo pedal. I wish the two switches were BOTH for presets. I’m constantly fiddling and losing my base tone.

    Use the app, you can make it so each switch is a different tone.

    I really wanted to love it. It has too much flappy low and Bass I could not dial out. I couldn’t hear it out of the guitar speaker standing in front of the amp, but I could hear it coming out of the PA and in my iem’s. Back to the store it goes. I tried using EQ after the fact, And I also use 2 Amps, one is miked up, the other uses a cab simulator. If it had a bass knob on it, I probably would’ve kept it. EQ after the fact with the PA affected my overall tone too much, and I’m not interested in running an EQ pedal along with it just to get what I needed. Maybe I’ll try the angry Charlie.

    I know what you mean. For me it’s a lead pedal only, and that’s it. Anytime I try to do rhythm on the AT+, it’s too muddy. But then again I bought it for a lead tone only, so it doesn’t bother me too much. I’d rather have a pedal that’s great for one thing, than average at everything 😊 for me rhythm is from the amp, lead is from the AT+

    I bought all three pedals in this series and I don't use them as the hissing noise etc they make is fairly sh1t...I go direct into the front of my amp and have also tried them through the send and return at the back of my Runt 20 combo amp.

    nah man, he cant play shit live.., even an grade schooler prom performance are more interesting than watching ichika nito live..dude doesnt even try atleast play 1 songs atleast 1 of his original composition like what he does in his videos even he got backing track but his guitar tone sounds unmatch and wtf man.. he should have played guitar dj rather than being like this.. imo only polyphia tim henson is the real banger who shows that he can perform his shit with band and backing tracks.. but ichika.. im dissapointed tbh..nobody asked him to play fast bpm music..he cant even nailed a moderate one too. sounds like amature covering ichika nito but ironically it was himself.

    Bare knuckles! I put an Aftermath in my Schecter bridge position and it sounds immense. And it splits really well too so they’re pretty versatile I’m not a fan of floating bridges so I’d put a floyd rose style bridge back in for the aesthetic but hard tail it so it’s stable but you can still use the fine tuners. And if it’s already a bit dinged up then lean into it and relic the hell out of it!

  • @SeanBennettGuitar
    @SeanBennettGuitarАй бұрын

    Ace man! I didn’t think the Aftermath would be so versatile - can it do multiple styles then? Funnily enough this guitar still has a wood block in the back from when I blocked the old tremolo completely 😅 it definitely would need some Bare Knuckles. I quite like the True Grit pickups. I would absolutely love if I could put a single coil in the neck instead of a humbucker. Needs to do some research and see if it’s possible.

    Mod and make vids on the process, do vids of it now with amp settings noted, and then the before and after. Sound difference tuning stability difference etc. Also I'd watch a vid on setting up an ibanez bridge from scratch!

    most of these comparison vids claiming tube amps are no longer needed are done with HIGH-gain setting. To me, differences are more notable in edge-of-breakup or relatively low gain settings. tube amps are still more dynamic. immediate (no latency) , warmer, less predictable (i'd call it more Organic), most of all "unique" - each one has its OWN voice.

  • @SeanBennettGuitar
    @SeanBennettGuitarАй бұрын

    I still love real amps. For me it’s not even about the sound of a real amp vs modellers, it’s the fact that you know you’re playing something real. It’s inspiring in that sense. The guitar -> real amp response is immediate and a better playing experience than modellers. I agree with you about high gain - it’s less noticeable in that instance which is a modellers and which is an amp.

    I have this pedal and a real Fender Deluxe, so in my opinion its strength is also its main drawback: it's too realistic! it really gives you the good and bad of a real Fender amp, I love it but I wish that for this price it could have MIDI and USB audio interface, or at least a firmware update to enable audio over USB so I can use it as my direct audio interface and maybe MIDI over USB to change presets

    Can you explain about footswich disengaging changes made when switching between channels I'm confused.

  • @SeanBennettGuitar
    @SeanBennettGuitarАй бұрын

    Sorry, I’m confused what you mean? If you mean the foot switch disengaging the channel switching functionality on the amp itself (rhythm/lead switch), then this does happen when the foot switch is inserted into the back of the amp.

    Melody. truer words couldn't be said. 2 things on that- take a lot of super talented guitar players that know theory and all that= their music sucks. Satriani, etc- their music isn't very good regardless of how technical it was. Jazz- really high-level jazz only appeals to musicians who play Jazz- sounds like shit to the average listener. This is why the French= Kill Jazz. Their music, though still Jazz= Sounds Good. French Jazz is some of my fav, go listen to a Monk album and tell me what's good about it, besides it being complex?

    Brother, if two frets are added, it would force the builder to move the pickups. That neck pickup tone you love so much would be ruined - if you those classic Strat tones from the neck and neck/middle are what one wants. The more you change the Strat formula, the more you stray from "that" tone. Lotsa options with 24 frets; including Schecter's.

    I've never heard that noise with mine. It's one of the best $350 I've ever spent on a pedal. I think it's amazing. Just my opinion 😂 I used to own the original reverb deluxe, obviously, there's no replacing the real thing but for what it is it's amazing. And I think I'd rather use if for a recording than the real amp. Less of a hassle.
