God Save The Queen
I think this is the most beautiful song I have heard in a long time
I am so glad they found this song with Freddie Mercury's vocal on it. ❤❤❤ Of course they used modern tools in audio production - we all know Freddie Mercury had excellent tuning whether or not autotune was used. I am just glad that I could hear his voice. I DON'T CARE if there is autotune placed on his voice or not. 🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍

Wow 🥰 beautiful sweet Freddie ❤️ what a wonderful song with a deep meaning ❤️
Great song. There’s a Queen song you should react to. It’s 99% guitar with only one sentence of vocal. It’s an amazing chilling guitar. The song by Queen is BIJOU. Check it out.
The Queen machine at work, looking after their legacy. So important to Roger, John and Brian.
Could be the next Bond Song 😁

Brian wrote one, it was rejected. Maybe this one?
I was quietly shattered to hear Freddie's voice all a fresh in that first verse - just a stunner moment. What a Queen moment.
So hauntingly beautiful

Great reaction video! I’d love it if they (May & Taylor) would show exactly how they put this all together.

That would be cool! I hope so too. Thanks for the comment and kind words
Brian May said in an interview that they didn't come back to redo the music on this, rather the engineers got hold of it, what was recorded in 88, and worked on it to produce this final result

Incredible really that nothing was re-recorded! Wonders of modern music production - sounds great.

@SeanBennettGuitar and I would argue the high end gear they used at the time plus great storage conditions helped a lot too

The song was first recorded from the band’s session for their 13th studio album, "The Miracle," which was released in 1989. However, the track never made a debut. The single was "kind of forgotten about," Roger admitted in the interview but called it a "wonderful" and "real discovery. The four-minute dramatic and emotional track begins with Mercury’s vocals. "When something so near and dear to life, explodes inside… You feel your soul is set on fire," Freddie sings over Brian’s guitar playing. "When something so deep and so far and wide, falls down beside your cries can be heard… So loud and clear." The refrain includes the lyrics "In the end, you have to face it all alone." "It’s a very passionate piece," Roger said in a statement. "It was kind of hiding in plain sight. We looked at it many times and thought, ‘Oh no, we can’t really rescue that.’ But in fact, we went in there again and our wonderful engineering team went, ‘OK, we can do this and this.’ It’s like kind of stitching bits together… But it’s beautiful. It’s touching," Brian noted

That you're not bringing up the fact that Fred's vocal is ruined by autotune is crazy. I've been a fan since the mid eighties and some of this doesn't even sound like him, it's taken the soul out of his voice.

You clearly need your hearing tested as this song is beautiful a real gift for xmas. Always one person like you being negative! Mum always said if have nothing nice to say don't say anything 🤪
Modern as in auto tune , if so , that is forbidden in my opinion !Probably the slowest song ever recorded ! (Sarcasm) Mediocre at best , it should have stayed in the vault ! Silly repetitive lyrics , and THE ABRUPTLY ENDED UNFINISHED GUITAR SOLO !!!!!! Brian should be pissed , as a guitarist and loyal Queen fan since 74 , I'm disaappointed AF!

For me Freddies voice seems strange, but I am no musician. Could it be because of autotune? I have heard some experiments with autotune and it is so artficial for me…
