This was absolutely fascinating and sadly 😔 ….. most of the negatives about it being dirty and unsafe is true particularly in bigger chocolate cities. To say that about the entire country would be far from truth.

The problems is not the Russians who are the problem. Putin and Xi Jinping are the priblems. Massive amonts of Russians moved to our United States in waves from 1916 to 2022.

i feel its generally the same around the world. older generations distrust in other nationalities due to their trust in media(likely due to being around before the internet) and younger people have an understanding that the difference isnt so much the nationality as it is the difference between government and citizen

The media is the problem here. The only few Russians I’ve met in the US were very rude, but I have no issues with Russia. There are good people and bad people no matter what country you’re from. Much love from 🇺🇸

It feels like in USA you constantly remember your nationality or place of birth. Here in Russia we just live and don't think about it at all. There are many ethnicities in Russia but we all are Russians.

I tell people these things and about other countries but they think I’m crazy, including my own family, WTF?! Anyway thx and if I can escape it I’ll be outta here soon. God willing

These are my kind of people! -- well-informed, caring, affable, happy, idealistic but not blinded by childish idealism. Victory is not something to celebrate. Victory is horrifying, and I empathize with those Russians who find victory monstrous. But defeat is worse. And defeat for Russia means defeat for humanity, with the loss of far more lives. Russia did not choose this war. It's not Russia that profits from war.

The bullshit we’re getting about Russian life is just that it’s bullshit. It’s American propaganda brought to us by mass media in cahoots with the Democrat party…..! The Russians and Ukrainians are the same kind of people you only difference is their governments, and Ukrainian government is no better than the Russian government, and in today’s world either one of them is no worse than the Biden government..!

As an American I can say I have no problem with Russian people and basically think they're the same as Americans in most ways because we're all just people. But the elites and corporations are the only ones responsible for stereotypes and wars. They push propaganda but only stupid people would buy into it. Put two random people from anywhere together and they usually get along no matter where they're from. Most people have friendly and unassuming nature.

The last three presidents, Obama, Trump, and Biden have done a lot of damage to the US. They are not the same but each has done so much damage in their way. As far as health, the cost of healthcare has gone up so much. But, as far as free healthcare, someone has to pay. Anything that is free from the government is being paid for by someone else. The problem with Russia is not the Russian people but Putin and his cronies. You must be careful what you say in Russia or you could disappear. The same is true with China. China is made up of 56 different ethnic groups and Xi and the CCP want to eliminate the 55 minority ethnic groups. The US has a lot of major problems now and yes I recommend people in the US to travel to places that most people don't think of as vacation spots. That hopefully get the US back on track. I have worked with people from many different countries around the world, including Russia. Please remember, currently Russia is a Communist/Dictatorship and there is far less freedom speech there than in the US. Russia is currently attaching itself to China and China (Xi and the CCP) is trying to start World War 3.

I am really glad you were able to go an live were you want. I agree there are many problems with my United States today. I am over 70 years old and certainly seen this country in better times. My nation has been under attack since before it was a nation, thay was why there was an American Civil War. But since 1912 United States came under a specific type of attack that grown and reach its zenith just recently. The attack has been focused on dismantling and ignoring our United States Constitution which is reason we exist as a nation. So I agree with you on so many things that are wrong with my nation. However some of the things you believe is wrong was either the corrupted education you received here or because of your lack of real world experience (which you are now getting) or both. I pray your abilities as a KZreadr continue to grow and you maintain a huge income. Here is a lesson you have yet to learn is a government that cares most about its people cares most about controlling its people but only because it cares. Government was created and exists to function for only two reasons to protect its citizens, not subjects, from enemies from outside (invaders) the nation and its citizens from within (criminal) the nation. The more a government does beyond these two prerequisites the more oppressive and repressive the government becomes. This is analogous to the parent who insists its child remains in diapers so it can be changed, fed with a bottle and never leave the crib past the child's 28th birthday. In a truly free society child learn to create jobs if he or she can't a job that will pay the person enough. This is why so many conveniences exist today such as stoves, refrigerators, heaters, air conditioners, washing machines and in-door plumbing. This is the reason autombiles exist, which you will find are rare in some countries. Health care is never free governments don't have their own money that use taxpayer (your, Sasha)'s money. Doctors used to paid with chickens or potatoes. Hospitals and schools were built and teachers paid by churches that received tithing from their parishioners. Schools, universities and the education they offered started to deteriorate the moment government took over education. Be careful in Russia, Putin had released criminals to Prigozhin to trained and used as Wagner mercenaries. The former prisoners now former soldiers finished therm term of service and back committing crimes. They know if they get caught all they have to do is re-up for another six-month military term of service to be back on Russian city streets as civilians. The reason most people are criminals is they have a mental problem.

You are not alone! I have had the same experience. We Americans live in a world of comic-book absolutes -- Good Guys and Bad Guys -- and the Soviet Union was so bad it was off the scale. I was in my 'thirties when I had my epiphany. That was in the late 1970s. I am forever grateful to the Soviet people who set me on the path to freedom. All U.S. wars begin with huge lies, and the Cold War was no exception. Supposedly, the U.S. was simply reacting to the "Soviet Threat". Here are two dates that indicate otherwise: 04 Apr 1949 (NATO founded) and 14 May 1955 (Warsaw T.O., aka, "Pact") formed.

Ukraine also fought alongside Russia during WW2. Sad to see Russia trying to forcefully claim Ukraine as its own. Russia can stop the war at any point by simply leaving Ukraine. Enough with the propaganda.

Well, I run out of Poland to avoid Russians. Lived in several countries but I never experienced what you say. Yes America is under attack and woke ideas are toxic. I found Americans nice and Trump a very good rational person although a bit crazy. In the US I spoke Polish, Spanish and Croatian in University, streets and no one told me a thing. I admit the USA is going down the tube in a hand basket and Trump is the only solution to America.
