As you know, there are a lot of citizens of polish origin in France, of both origins. First, during Beck and Pilsudski fascist dictature, a lot of Polish of jew origin flew to France in the 20s, and I know many, because most of them became great communist resistants ( FTP-MOI : a lot of , but for instance : Gingold family, Radzinsky family , Charles Lederman, etc ) and a basis of CP in Paris : even CP's leaders and mayors ( Fiszbin, Malberg, Schwartzbart, Fajzylberg) and union's leader ( CGT: Henri Krasucki) . But there were also miners ( in the 30s and after WWII) in our mines regions : Northern France and Bourgogne ...Among them, Edward Gierek. As Poland's right wing or neo-liberal pro Western leaders "decommunize" the country freed by Red Army that lost 600 000 soldiers, there was an association Edward Gierek, well organized in France, that fought against and is linked with Polish comrads. In France, all these french-polish citizens support Russia, but also , protest against the harass of Communists in Poland (jailed etc ). But our media never say a word about ! Do you know who is Pablo Gonzales ? He's a spanish journalist, born in Russia, who has been arrested a year ago, by Poland, as he came back from a reportage in Ukraine. He is kept 23:/24 in a cell, filmed, without connexion, neither mobile phone, no contact ( prohibited), not allowed to go out, as if he was a dangerous criminal : that's Poland today ! Thus, from France, there're three french-polish comrads and friends, 2 historians ( in Paris) , one journalist (in Nord) struggling to free him ( of course no trial, , because nothing against him) and one moves over here...

When you can't win in fair competition, start spoiling the reputation of a competitor (Western media, Hollywood, the gaming industry - all have succeeded well in this). BUT, it turns out easily if people don't know how to think. A thinking person will compare the facts: Their own space industry, they were the first to come up with a vaccine against Cavid, they have their own aviation industry, a second army, a developed nuclear industry, free medicine, free education...So stop...And they tell us something wrong about Russia.

What I liked a lot is the fact that a lot of people who haven't been to the US say "Well, I've never been there, so I can't say for certain, need to go and see first". I haven't seen this type of critical thinking in a lot of europeans.

Hello Sasha, I'm from Indonesia. If I were asked I would rather live in Russia than in the USA. Because I think Russia is a country with an interesting civilization and a beautiful country.

@@vladm5920, since the launch of the invasion of Ukraine, Russia is viewed internationally as a pariah state, and Russians are thus perceived negatively. Had they publicly protested and marched against their government then they might have not earned such a reputation.

Я несколько раз летала в США, в первый раз когда училась в универе. Честно скажу, не понравилось по многим причинам. Другое дело если-бы предложили переехать в США годов 50/70х поехала бы и попыталась адаптироваться. Путешествовала, побывала во многих странах мира, на разных континентах. Скажу так, лучше родного дома ничего нет. Максимум меня хватало на неделю прибывания вне Родины. Россия🇷🇺 эта страна, где я родилась и эта страна где я бы хотела жить до конца своей жизни.

I appreciate wanting to live in Russia, it is a beautiful country and its citizens have many good reasons to be patriotic ❤️🤍💙 I'm an American who hates what Biden has done to our once great country and want it to be great again under Trump in the near future. I don't have great optimism that anything would radically change under Trump. He did have John Bolton in his cabinet plus he recently defended Mike Johnson who totally flip flopped on Ukraine and FISA. Unless there is a 70's style Church committee senate inquiry into the CIA and collaboration with media, think tanks both domestic and international, lobby groups, etc. If I were Trump the 1st thing I would do is call for a Ukrainegate investigation of collusion between the Ukraine gov, Dem party figures and the CIA to perpetrate the Russian collusion conspiracy theory.

I also am an American from Minnesota! Biden and Obama have wrecked the USA. They seem to want to. I know that at one time Pres Putin wanted to join NATO…if NATO would have taken him up on that the it would be a different world now. But because of stupidity and poor leadership it was no. Изучение - всегда индивидуальный процесс. Но есть моменты общие, которые помогают. Помню, как в библиотеке Кембриджского университета я наткнулся на учебник Русского языка для англоговорящих. И начинался он с тех заимствований в русском из английского. На этапе незнания кирилицы даже это очень помогает преодолеть барьер неуверенности

The US doesn't represent the whole west when it comes to social attitudes.

American here who is so excited to get out of this country by the end of the year. I will love to try and move to russia one day. Going to portugal for 5 years to get EU citizenship first. I admire Russia as there is real culture and morals left in the country. It is not a trash dump of liberal policies like the USA.

Ещё один пример: когда короновали короля Чарльза, старшие полицейские предупреждали своих офицеров оставить любые высказывания в духе "Он не мой король", поскольку это их право. Свобода слова, религии, протеста - все это божественные свободы, которые потеряны в таких странах, как Россия и Китай.

А я бы сказал, что самое лучшее время для воплощения "American Dream" - было как раз бум строительства после мировых войн (Бреттон-Вудское соглашение)) и Америка попёрла в гору с 47-50х гг. и вплоть до первых звоночков с топливным кризисом в 71-73г. (Эхх, золотое время беби-бумеров и маслкаров!) А политически Штаты сдулись ещё раньше...после заказухи СиАйЭй - ликвидации Кеннеди в 1963 году (потому что он хотел их же расформировать)). Сегодняшняя Америка идёт по стопам Британской империи - в этом романтики я уже не вижу) А вот вернуться во времена нуара Чикаго/Детройта 20-30х г. и попасть под мафиозные пули в перестрелке с Робертом Де Ниро - всё как в фильме "Однажды в Америке"... Ps. Был в нулевых у товарища в штате Техас, Сан-Антонио - стреляли из Томми гана 45-калибра! Вот как будто time machine в руке подержал, сразу образ - двубортный костюм, шляпа и ганстеры на кадиллаках :)😎

No way! No one among my friends and people I know want to leave Russia. We see our live is becoming much better than for example ten years ago. Не очень понимаю, зачем мне хотеть переезжать в США. У меня здесь социалка - огонь. Бесплатная медицина, бесплатное образование. Моему ребенку никто не срет в мозг, что он другого пола. Мне не приходится его спасать и садиться в тюрьму за другое мнение. Я могу ругать свою власть за неверную внутреннюю политику, могу писать жалобы, если мне что-то не нравится в моем городе, и мои жалобы исполняются. Я спокойна за своего ребенка, он может гулять, где хочет один. Мне не нужно убиваться на работе, чтобы оплатить коммуналку. Она мизер. У меня самый большой культурный, языковой и исторический код. Если бы этот вопрос задали растерявшимся советским людям в 90-х годах, то ответ бы был "Да". Такими мы были наивными и доверчивыми. Так мы верили Голливуду . Но с тех пор столько воды утекло, мы очень разочаровались в либеральном Западе, нас много обманывали. Теперь ответ "Нет".

I love the man with the red CCCP cap! He expresses my own sentiments exactly -- and I'm not even Russian! Thank you for interviewing him! Like you, I am an American. I believe that we Americans, as individuals, should not underestimate ourselves. We can make a positive contribution to Russia, because we can see and appreciate Russia from the outside. We should not be too much in awe of Russians! The U.S. government, however, has nothing to contribute. The U.S. has been swallowed up by a global capitalist "Utopia". When a system treats profit as sacred, human values and needs become irrelevant, and the entire human race becomes disposable. When a system idolizes the inhuman, it destroys the human. I hope Russia returns to the Soviet path and does not follow the ruinous example set by the U.S..

The countries are controlled by plutocrats who profit from war, and then the people are given whatever crumbs are left over. That's why I prefer the Soviet model -- government of, by, and for the people. It's not perfect, because people are far from perfect, but it improves over time, because we humans have the ability to adapt and learn from mistakes. If Russia returns to communism, it should adopt the free-market communism of Lenin's "New Economic Policy" (NEP, 1922-28) -- the version of communism we see in China today. This would avoid the shortages of consumer goods that develop in a command economy.

У меня сестра в 10-м классе уехала в Америку, закончила там школу, потом университет в штате Монтана на отлично. И все это время говорила, что как закончит учебу сразу от туда уедет и никогда и низа что не будет там жить. Так и сделала. Хотя английский у нее чистейший, американцы в шоке были когда узнавали, что она с России и училась лучше местных.

Не надо на штаты говорить, что это нелюди!!!Я Москвич, безумно люблю Россию, но везде есть люди и плохие люди и хорошие!!!! нельзя никогда под одну гребёнку обобщать! Там как и везде тоже живут люди и в большинстве своём хорошие!!!!!!!!!!!

Правильно, нет плохой нации, есть горсть плохих людей. У простых людей нет проблем друг с другом. Я был в США, я могу с уверенностью сказать, там живут такие же простые граждане как и мы, познакомился с хорошими и добрыми людьми. Американцы хорошие люди.

О чем тут говорить? Менталитет и культура у народов разная. Даже в регионах России... Я с Хабаровска, жил год в Москве и ни за что бы там не остался. А вот в Улан-Удэ, Омске и Калининграде, мне очень понравился местный народ. Во Владивостоке тоже (по большей части) коренной народ гниловат к сожалению. А для Москвы давно норма слизывать всё гавно у сша и европы, ещё до распада СССР...

Mostly Russians go to America because they hate their country, they are so strongly influenced by the influence of Western culture that they think they can earn a lot there. As a result, those who went there complain about high taxes, and there are many things for which you can get fines.There is free medicine in Russia, it's not even bad, you won't be fined for watching a pirated movie.Very low taxes.And help for families.If you walk down the street, you will see that there are almost no homeless people, and there are not many drug addicts at all.Of course, crime is mainly due to migrants, but there are no gangs that carry guns, if gangs appear they are caught.I like about Americans that with any stupid government actions, people remain patriots and do not try to overthrow their government.The Russian mentality is more rebellious

Oh my ... How can you say such things? Would you dare to say this to people who live quite away from Moscow. Their salary is 10 times lower than in Moscow. They are trying to survive. Those people aren't worse... they are searching for a better place to live. I don't need a large country; I need a small one with good circumstances for living. Of course, you are lucky if you were born in Moscow, then you have possibilities. And what about the rest of people? they stop being associated to "the best ones", as you said... it's really sh%%ty to hear that... People have the right to choose where to live on this Earth, man!

@AnnaKosterova Possibly because recently I was tricked into marriage With a Russian woman Who spreads propaganda about Russia and the source of much of her propaganda Is my state department sending memos to different news agencies And she thinks she has an original source Of information. I try to only associate with people who are smarter than this, and most of those people are in Russia.

None with an ounce of sense would want to move to the USA at this time.

I am so pleased to see that Russians are so proud and happy in their country. I think 5 yrs ago that might not have been the case.

Its nice for me that they have a positive attitude to Switzerland. The place in Switzerland where Iive has a lot of people from Nordamerica, Scandinavia, Australia but also from Russia and Ukraine

Ты это не можешь объяснить, но ты это очень четко чувствуешь. Точно так же, когда человек нравится, ты не можешь объяснить почему. Нравится и всё, ты это чувствуешь, объяснять и не надо. Среди чужих человеку очень сложно жить.

Я жила в Чикаго. Прекрасный город, особенно тот район, где я жила - Lakeview. Очень скучаю. Люди там душевные, но живут в ограниченном мире. В связи с политической ситуацией, я смотрю SNN, чтобы понимать почему они так думают. Иногда мир смеется над американцами что у них плохо с географией, знаниями о реальной ситации в мире и их собственными преступлениями. Хочу защитить их - их специально ограничивают в знаниях, специально не переводят информацию. Как в русской поговорке - "меньше знаешь - лучше спишь". Это об Американцах. Они очень неравнодушный и смелый народ, просто не каждый выходит из мыльного пузыря. Мы в более выгодном положении, т.к. учим английский в школе и университете. Я мечтаю посетить некоторые штаты, но конечно если дирижирование их властей по экономической дестабилизации России не изменится. Американцы могли бы быть хорошими друзьями с русскими. Но в любом случае, выбирая где для меня лучше, то конечно Россия. Мне нравится культура, образование, воспитание, свобода. Хотя, в последнее люди не верят. что такое свобода по-американски вам лучше расскажет Джуллиан Ассандж, культура отмены и процент владения мирового СМИ.

Проводя свой личный сравнительный анализ, я выражаю своё мнение так, как хочу. Судя по вашему комментарию, вы явно не дотягиваете чтобы измерять уровень деградации общества. Если вы наберётесь достаточно обширного кругозора, будете изучать новости и пропаганду на 2 или 3 языках как я, тогда Россия вам покажется девственной феей питающейся утренней росой.

Im impressed with the patriotism of the russian people! I, too italian, agree with that woman that italians and russian cultures are very close...that guy with the CCCP hat, i need to know where he got it!

Уровень комфорта жизни в Москве, безопасность, сферы IT и госуслуг, транспорт и логистика, сферы доставки и услуг, доступность и стоимость медицины, парки и количество спортивных сооружений, рестораны и кафе..Всё перечисленное намного развитее и доступнее, чем в ЛЮБОМ городе США..Я как из детей перестройки рос на голливудских фильмах, американских джинсах и еде. Сейчас это испарилось.. США эпохи 1990-2000 годов и США 2020-2024 годов это абсолютно разные страны..

Есть хорошее высказывание: "Не надо путать туризм и эмиграцию". Посетить Нью-Йорк, Лос-Анджелес, Сан-Франциско, Лас-Вегас, Майами, Йелоустон и Рашмор было бы интересно, но в качестве туриста и с деньгами. А платить за вызов скорой помощи, потому что ты гражданин США, - это не в какие ворота не лезет.

I can agree with almost everyones pov here. The US has its charm, but it also has dissatisfaction. I think about leaving more than staying myself.

As a German I would also rather live in Moscow than any American city. Russian culture and people are really nice, the quality of food and service is great, women are super beautiful. It seems like Germany in old times: everyone has manners, dresses normally or stylish and people value traditions. If there wasn’t the current conflict I would definitely go for a job in Moscow 👍 PS: trains run more efficiently and on-time than in Germany 😅

Мужчине в бейсболке с надписью СССР отдельное спасибо за его мнение. Я тоже успел прихватить немного эру СССР и помню демонстрации с шариками, помню брата, наглаживающего пионерский галстук, помню родителей покупающих рыбу пластами, соленую в овальных банках, мороженное вообще покупали коробками и топили в кастрюльке, а стаканчики вафельные ели просто так. Мои родители были: отец(инвалид по зрению) - учитель истории и обществознания, мама (полиомиелит)- санитарка в приемном покое. Хочу сделать акцент! Мы не были богачами, элитой и т.д. но родители могли позволить все это за свои зарплаты + даже летать на самолете в Москву за колбасой. Вот такой "плохой был Советский союз". P/S: старший брат от школы летал один раз в лагерь в Артек!

I was lucky enough to visit 47 countries of the planet, 189 cities at the moment (I have not been to the USA). I have a strong opinion that people are initially the same, with the same basic aspirations. Experience makes them different: language, culture, and the laws of the country. That's why I wouldn't want to leave Russia forever. Here are my roots, the cemeteries of my ancestors and the culture in which I feel very comfortable. But I, just like the people in the interview, live in a big city where there is a good social policy, many services are available, and great opportunities to meet cultural needs. Perhaps if I had no experience of traveling and working abroad (in good places, at the University of Cambridge in England and in a large international company) and I would live in a remote taiga, where the ambulance won't get there in an hour - I'd be thinking about moving. And so - we are waiting for the world to wake up from crazy confrontations, lift sanctions and we will be free again, as tourists, to bring our money to you, but for 2-3 weeks, no more 🤣 And now I would not take my money to the USA and Europe even for political reasons - it was these countries that provoked the coup in Ukraine, armed the Nazis first, and then the whole country, and now poor Ukraine is just at the bottom - it is fighting against its closest ally, against those people who really needed a happy, peaceful and rich Ukraine with its own production. My husband is Ukrainian, and I feel sorry for both Russian soldiers and ordinary Ukrainians, but I blame American gunsmiths and economists for this horror. They are killing Europe financially, and Ukraine - both financially and in human potential, prohibiting negotiations for Ukraine. Therefore, my money will now go to Asia, central and eastern.

Кстати, никто не сказал про цены в США! И вообще, что если там заболеешь и нет медицинской страховки - лучше сдохнуть:-))) В США элементарно полечить зубы - это очень дорогостоящий процесс, который обойдется вам во много тысяч долларов! Цены в магазинах без налога. От штата к штату и от к города к городу налог отличается😮Бургеры, картошка фри и стейки - любимая еда американцев. Вся пища - очень высококалорийная и нездоровая. В крупных городах бомжи спят на улицах и плпрошайничают. Жизнь в целом стала сильно дороже чем была. Я не жил в США, но есть знакомые. Любите Россию!!!

I’ll tell you as a Russian, these are the problems of Americans, how do they imagine Russians, Russians are neither hot nor cold from this. Americans just need to not focus only on the place where they live and ask, at least with the help of the Internet, the same KZread, how people live in other countries in order to have a more objective understanding of other nations. I know that Americans have such an obsession only with the USA and the problems of life in the place where they currently live, while they have little knowledge of world geography and have little idea about the mentality of others nations.

Это такой бред)) смешно просто слышать такое))) лично мне кажется в России больше адекватной свободы. В сша свобода только неадекватная сейчас. Свобода воровства, наркомании, содомии и разврата... Спасибо, нам такое не надо даже бесплатно. Адекватной свободы в США нет или я не прав? Тогда выйдите с пикетом что вы против ЛГБТ и докажите мне обратное, если вас не посадят.
