American visits SECRET SOVIET BUNKER 42!💥

Many of you have seen the movie Oppenheimer, atomic bombs and all. So, with the imminent threat of a nuclear war once again, I decided to film a secret Soviet military bunker in Moscow! This is Bunker 42 💥
During the Cold War, the Soviets and Americans faced an arms race. In order to balance out the weapons of mass destruction after Americans bombed Japan, the Soviets decided they needed a nuclear bomb of their own. But Stalin decided to take these secrets underground…into a bunker! It was here, in Bunker 42, 65 meters underground, where Stalin had a a once-secret military complex, bunker, and communication center in Moscow, Russia, near the Moscow Metro. So what is this place like? Is there a famous nuclear button? And would an American be allowed in this bunker today? Let’s go and find out…🚀

Same with Stanislav Petrov who saved the world from nuclear armageddon when he judged a nuclear early-warning system that detected multiple launches from the USA to be a false alarm and didn't fire back 😨😌

Very very interesting as usual, Amazing ! And with a fantastic sense of humour of both ! All the explaination were acute and pedagogical, even for claustrophobic - especially for them. In Paris, the HQ of tte Parisian Commity of Résistance ( for the Libération in August 1944) was located in the Catacombes : 200 km of a underground labyrinthic galeries ( filled with skelettons coming from full cemeteries.). From the Catacombes you can reach some highschools and public édifices around Paris : students and pupils visit it though it's absolutely forbidden. Some died because they lost themselves. There're also secret clubs that made sculptures and weird rituals....

It's Western propaganda that's given a shit about the living conditions in Russia😂 In Russia, free medicine, free education, and the entire social infrastructure are at a high level. If you come here and see with your own eyes, you will understand how the United States has lagged behind on all fronts for 20-30 years. When I went to the USA, I thought I was going to a modern cool place, it turned out there was such a dump, the level of poor African countries

One of the most interesting is the obvious difference in our understanding of the "Cuban Missile Crisis". I suppose it doesn't really matter at this point anyway! Keep up the great work... your videos are fun and entertaining!

  • @LuboCoach

It's not a difference of understanding. The description here is how it unfolded. Obviously, the US government couldn't tell that to their own people. But that is how everything is going. It's always the US who does something and the Soviets respond. Just like creating NATO. Warsaw Pact was a response a year later. There are many other examples. The most recent is Ukraine. The US instigated a coup. Russia was saying the whole time - do not put your bases into Ukraine. Only recently the US admitted that there were bases in Ukraine. This war was brought to us by the US and NATO.

I remember seeing on KZread how a man was walking through the forest, where there were only swamps, and found a bunker where there was a laboratory, but everything there was welded and littered, apparently so that no one could get further... It was somewhere in Siberia. Я помню видел в Ютубе как человек гулял по лесу, где одни болота и нашел бункер, где была лаборатория, но там было всё заваренно, и завалено, видимо чтобы не кто не смог дальше попасть.... Это было в Сибири.

Fantastic video, as always! It's always interesting seeing how things used to be done and some of the precautions that were taken given the circumstances of the time. You may find it interesting that the nuclear weapons ready to go these days are a fraction of the size of the bomb you were standing in front of in this video. Precision is the name of the game these days. Back in the Cold War days, accuracy, for lack of a better term, sucked. So they had to build the bombs to take out a wide area, even if what they wanted to actually hit was a small target. These days, they can hit a precise location without any issues, so the actual size and yield of the device is considerably smaller. This helps when it comes to those people caught in the middle of everything because the thermal and blast zones are significantly reduced. There are many layers of nuclear response, and it doesn't begin with ICBMs, it starts with that plane you saw in the bunker. The aircraft always go first because they can always be called back if discussions can deescalate the crisis. Next are the ICBMs. They're the giant missiles in the ground with multiple warheads in the ground. When the START 2 treaty came into being, we all agreed to have ONLY three warheads on top of each ICBM. As the ICBMs are hitting their targets the bombers that survive are returning to alternative loading sites to be reloaded for additional target assignment. The final attack comes from submarines. Some argue they are the first, but this argument exists only in a first-strike scenario where there's not a gradual increase in threat level. Submarines can park right off the coast and their missiles can be over target in one to ten minutes. The concept of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) has kept all of this in the war game stage. Luckily, for everyone, things have not been pushed to the point where these weapons have been used these days. Keep up the great work on your videos and keep smiling!

Yes, that is why Russia has the Avangard hypersonic unit, which is capable of overcoming US air defenses and causing unacceptable damage. Yes, perhaps it will not be more than 120 million people, but nevertheless...

@@user-kr5ho3wr3v I've read up on that missile system, and it's capable up to 2 Megatons nuclear yield. That's rather impressive. If they happened to strike DC I doubt many of us would really have a problem with it. They're all evil in DC anyway.

Very good video . I remember coming home from elementary school worrying that we were going to be hit by Russian missiles from Cuba . So interesting to see the bunker where the orders would have come from.#wulffdendad
