Business is Booming! Meet the Folks Who Aren’t Afraid of Anti-Russian Sanctions
What does a French man and his family, a Russian man, and a Russian woman all have in common? They’re all involved in the booming wine business of Crimea! 🍷 Anti-Russian sanctions don’t scare them, in fact, it’s only given them more motivation to push their own, local product. 🍇 I went to visit their lucious vineyards, and galloped my way across the Crimean countryside (Fedya, you’ll always have my heart! 🐎) A very special guest took me to his wine cellar where we tried old barrelled Russian wine. And I got to hear a tale about how a ship became the unlikely muse of the hottest bar in Sevastopol. Watch my Crimean adventure, alongside the passionate and brave folk who taught me about wine, life, and finding your true calling - more than I had ever known before. 🍷

If you are in Crimea, be sure to visit the Vorontsov Palace, it is smaller than the winter palace in St. Petersburg, but it is also very beautiful. And of course, Aivazovsky Park . There are many unique plants and a cool sanatorium , Nikita Khrushchev loved to relax there . Under Ukraine, it turned into a landfill , it was restored for 4 years , now it is fine

Crimea is Russian and will stay Russian. Sasha, I am from California and this looks like it could be in California. There is no reason in the world why the USA and Russia should not be great friends. Another great video. You are a wonderful ambassador for both countries. My youngest son wants to go to the St. Petersburg area this year to visit a young lady he met in Japan. I have been sending him your videos help him learn as much as he can before he goes. Here's to victory and peace!

That's a really unusual thing to see - white men working on farms! I can't remember the last time Americans did this on a professional, mass scale. I'm not surprised to see sanctions not working against Russia. I have wanted to slough off my identity as an American for at least 5 years now. I moved to India in 2018. Now, you have me wondering if it's possible for an American to immigrate to Russia and start over at the bottom. I was in retail and office work, and I won't do those jobs anymore, particularly since I wouldn't be able to read Russian. I'm already 57, profoundly deaf, and I don't know that I can handle this weather (cold) at my age, considering that I've been living in south Gujarāt for 5 years. I love it here, but there is something about Russia... I have more Russian ancestry, which includes Tuva as well, than I do Indian ancestry. I had fallen into things in the West, and I had to leave to save my life, coming to India, which is a neutral land outside of white space. See, right now, I can't tell between America's side in the Russian/Ukraine war and that of Russia's side. I can't tell you apart. I don't know who's telling the truth. However, it is striking to know that Russia and India has a relationship that goes back long before the White Man started stealing land from the Native Americans and killing them off. That Russia was one of the last European areas to fall to Christianity, and it's not the western variety, either. Even the West did try to swing Russia over to the Protestant brand during the Crusades, but Russia didn't try to do that to the West, bringing the latter over to Orthodox Christianity. On the one hand, I see Putin as a Terminator capable of killing me with the flick of his hand on my neck, on the other, I see him as a person with his head on straight and seeing the real danger the west presents to the rest of the world (and I agree with him to a large extent), and I would hope he would defend my right to remain Hindū, and I hope that he would allow people seeking refuge and starting over to come to Russia. Should I take that chance, or should I stay here, where I know the land, the people, understand a bit of the languages here, and feel very much a part of the culture here? America is gone, as far as I'm concerned. I'm hearing from people who have gone back to visit experiencing reverse culture shock. "I'm American, and they'd have to throw me back every day." That is the opposite of Dad's statement, "If I was one of them illegals, they'd have to throw me back (to México) every day." I just know that I can't go back there and expect to die peacefully in old age in a secure situation.

Мне так нравится Сашина красота, ярковыраженные славянские черты, но какие-то странные - следствие вливания американской крови. Одновременно, что-то родное, но необычное.
I wonder what kind of Hermicides /Pesticides they use on those grapes , any idea?

Dummy, this cellar was literally built in the Soviet Union you hate so much, in the times when Crimea had nothing to do with Ukraine. As a matter of fact, in the times when there was no such thing as Ukraine. The first time Ukraine appeared as a sovereign state was 1991. I mean, I honestly never believed in this "Americans are dumb" narrative, but you are kinda making me change my mind now.
