Will someone tell me the twist ending of The Baby? Because there is no way I'm watching that movie.

Loved the art direction and period-correctness. But the acting and pacing seemed off to me. I don't mind predictability. We knew the final guest was going to deliver the goods. But this could have been edited just a little more tightly. I liked it and appreciated it's available to rent here on KZread. I still recommend it, but on my best horror of 2024, it's nowhere near the top 5. Dead Mail (Joe DeBoer & Kyle McConaghy, 2024) is still at the top of my list so far. And it is quite a perfect exercise in low budget would-building! Seek it out.

Shocking ending of The Baby: . . . . . . . . . . Ann (social worker) has a husband. He has an accident, also leaving him mentally incapacitated. She kills Mama, and Baby's two sisters. She buries them in a deep hole in the backyard, then builds a pool over it. Husband and Baby are now 'brothers,' playmates for each other, and her sexual partners. End.

these movies are interesting but the jokes these guys make are so utterly terrible which would be fine by itself but they act as if their jokes are hilarious.

Re-watching this on the eve of the release of Furiosa, which is amusing, considering Jay's comment about Furiosa. Also amusing considering that I have no recollection of watching this, but it was already marked as liked. 🤔

All of these kids are too old to be on their parents insurance so they make these to justify union benefits. Start the clock until the next deadline! Lol, these spoiled dirt bags don't want to act, they want to game and stream. Making something like this is....work

I can understand why Jay would prefer Gary Oldman's performance over Winona Ryder's considering he often googles Gary Oldman without the 'r'.

Sometimes you guys think too much. There is no call to try to establish a timeline or any connection between the movies. Just enjoy each one as a separate work and expression on a theme, like a vampire movie or something. This one wasn’t that bad, at least in my opinion. I enjoyed the action.

The descriptions are becoming a whole new art form lol. But what's further incredible is that they didn't recognize Ted Post, who directed The Baby, but also directed episodes of the original Twilight Zone, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, and Night Slaves...or....RICOU BROWNING who directed Mr. No Legs...who played THE GILL-MAN in CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON...and it's sequels!!! I don't think it's a stretch to assume the RESEARCH department is DRUNK... But the whole thing descended into fits of laughter when we hit 'I'm givin' it to the baby!" on repeat LOL...I expect we'll be hearing that for years....
