To be fair, any self-respecting Trekkie would know the third option makes no sense. Anything chronotron in trek usually has to do with time or time dilation. The most common remedy for time related issues are tachyon fields or emitters, obviously this was a bit of a tricky question because that was not the answer on this one. And while true answer did make sense, the third option makes no sense. The third option talks about positron emissions and effectively every time you're talking about positrons in Trek you were talking about data's brain, which is a positronic network. Basically if you know Trek the question is asking, how did they deal with the time distortion: A. By using time particles B. By using a weird field C. By dumping data's brain waves into the air ducts So you can see why the third one is so ridiculous.

I always suspected Rich to know more about Star Trek than Mike and this PROVES it.

The fact that Mike is able to figure out a lot of the questions through context and thinking about things like the order of episodes is actually an incredible testament to TNG's writing, and I say this as someone who's never seen a full episode

I've had full, long hair for nearly 20 years. I wash it every other day, go light on shampoo. I wash my hair, massage the shampoo in, let it do it's magic before I rinse. All with lukewarm water. Then I let it air dry (you can use a hair dryer if you want to make it look more poofy)

I could be wrong Without a doubt I would recommend it to someone who wants to watch a character centric episode (LeVar Burton and Brent Spiner really shine in the episode as well). or.. If it does get overlooked these days I could only guess it'd be due to not being very meme-friendly in the form of dialogue, set pieces, or plot. The fact that it's one of many Data-centric episodes also makes it a little easier to overlook. If not for the recasting of Rubinek's role it would have been much more hokey and a lot less sinister.

Questions of character names he just mentioned while asking Mike and Rich similar questions he can't remember anymore. I don't think i've ever heard of anyone hating TNG as much as Jay does. He probably couldn't have answered the questions he himself just asked.

These guys doing trivia could be its own channel. Quality stuff. Their chemistry is great.

I'm Amazed by the charity Mike Always demonstrates: Getting drunk enough to allow Rich a chance to win! He might be THE Greatest human to have ever started a KZread channel.

I'm not sure what's worse: watching Mike and Rich duke it out over a thirty year old board game in the middle of a weekday, Jay mispronounce Data repeatedly, or like a good jeopardy game knowing as many answers as the contestants and screaming at the video when one of them hits a senior moment. +11001001 more of these

The moment Mike answered "47" to the number of musical pieces Data was listening to, I damn near keeled over; though it is a fair easter egg guess.

8:49 I laughed uncontrollably for minutes when Mike dismissed "backflushing the life support systems with positronic emissions" instantly because "no, that doesn't make any sense."

But you see I would have thought it would have been the tachyon answer. I don't have a clue what an anyon is.

I love that they went to the trouble of getting Jay a Discovery uniform to make him look like a Star Trek dork, but with his hair and beard he ended up looking more like a mash-up of Sgt. Pepper's and Abbey Rd era Ringo instead.

Jay not skipping a beat on the final question twist ending was perfection.

This is the intellectual equivalent of Plato and Aristotle debating each other in Fourth Century BC.

I really loved Rich "unlimited time and ability to arbitrarily change his answers" Evans, he was my favorite contestant!

Mike argues the point about the old man hitting the glass table with a forensic precision I've only seen before in people theorizing over JFK's shooting.

Thanks to Make-A-Wish for giving little person Mike this wonderful experience he will never forget, at least until the dementia takes over completely. ❤

This was the most entertaining trivia I have seen. Jay not knowing the context or why the answers were correct. Mike getting more hostile as the game went on. Rich having to fix another prop. Fabulous.

He even made up the rule on the spot that whoever guessed correctly would win the game and still got pissed when he lost

The way Rich is waring his glasses and looking at that card makes him look like a senior citizen looking over the menu at Denny’s.
