    I was a certified water aerobics instructor years ago... are you certified? Or because its adaptive its a new concept?

  • @SwimAngelfish
    @SwimAngelfishАй бұрын

    Hi! We love your interest and dedication to water aerobics! All our instructors are certified in the adaptive Swim Whisperers methodology, which equips them with in-demand adaptive aquatic skills and knowledge address the sensory and motor challenges in swimmers with special needs and ALL abilities. We had just gotten back from the AEA IAFTC conference and were so inspired by what could be possible for special needs swimmers. The purpose of our adaptive water aerobics is to add in more fun to an Adaptive Swim Group lesson to increase social interaction and coordination for kids with autism, sensory or motor challenges. We hope this helps! 🩵🩷🐠

    Hi! We understand there are sometimes strong feelings about this. We usually honor that preference of male or female instructor. It does depend on scheduling, of course, but most people with a certain preference will typically wait (if necessary) to get the instructor they want. We hope this helps!

    It is extremely important to discuss with the parent regarding this if they swim outside of lessons. Extreme breath holding can lead to shallow water hypoxia due to the build of Co2 in the body.
