Transition Tips for Adaptive Swim: How to Progress to a Group Swim Lesson

How do we determine if a swimmer with special needs will be able to progress to a semi-private or small group class? In order to test out the options you can consider a 5 minute overlap with your co-workers swimmer. This will give you insight into how the student handles the increased stimulation of having a peer. You will be able to see how they follow directions, process information and if they are motivated or distracted by having a peer.
