It’s pretty short. I think you can do it in under two hours. It took a lot longer because we did a bunch of off shoots and stopped for lunch.

I am still trying to figure it out, but it seems like there are several ways for bass. It almost always seems to get bit on the sink or on a pause during a retrieve, I I mostly let it sink to a certain depth, wind 5-20 cranks, then let it back down.

I have since heard it as well. There was nothing posted that we could see, and there were several people camped on the sand when we arrived, so it didn’t occur to me that it wouldn’t be okay.

For lakes and ponds I like to fish a Carolina rig. A fairly small sliding egg sinker with a Carolina Keeper or swivel, and then a 12”-18” leader. #8 Owner Mosquito hook. Bait is either a mouse tail or the Berkeley night crawler chucks.

Yes. Several of the offshoots were closed off when I ran it, presumably due to rains. I took it north and ended up at Silverwood Lake.

Thanks! Some rocks in 100’ off of Long Beach, basically due south from the Eastern end of the Wall. Lots of spots out there, and relatively easy to find with a sonar.
