Exploring Bailey Canyon Road 2N49 | San Bernardino National Forest

Spring Break 2024! This 18.4 mile adventure was along Bailey Canyon Road 2N49, and took me to Sugarpine Mountain, Bailey Peak, Pine Flat, and lots of other interesting stops.
Despite being so close to Cleghorn Road, this trail had a very different feel, and the weather seemed to change as often as the views.

Thanks, it was way cooler than I thought it would be. I think the fog added to the sense of adventure.

I was self filming, and every time I got out of the car and ran up the road to place a camera it was creeping me out.

It was odd that whatever bulldozed the road didn’t cut it back any.

Yes. Several of the offshoots were closed off when I ran it, presumably due to rains. I took it north and ended up at Silverwood Lake.

@@rohrsoutdoors Cool brother! Thanks for the reply. I moved in the road from it and I always wondered where it led to or if we were even allowed in there. I will definitely check it out
