Of course Don Menza doesn't need Charlie Parker's mouthpiece for anything. Menza could always use an empty tin can for a mouthpiece and the sole of a sneaker for a reed to make history.

it wont cause any issues. It will help bridge the gap from beginner to learning how to properly voice. its a common technique in clarinet and bassoon worlds

Good morning nice playing l need a back up horn. Does this inst have adjustment screws on the right and left hand stacks. I am a Yamaha Guy so l know their value.

tonguing or articulation includes all the different ways to articulate the beginning and ending of notes!

I'd hold that F ....& resolve to E & then go somewhere else. Resolution Cells? We're Musos not Mathematicians. Jazz is losing its Humanity.

Interesting video and beautiful playing on both instruments. I play a mk vii tenor (265xxx with the M stamp) that's keywork has been customised to feel like a mk vi. It's my forever tenor!

Besides this, my sax randomly shifts to upper mode and takes about 5 seconds to depress from the upper mode after using it, making playing near impossible. How do I fix this?

I have the marbled mouthpiece but I find I have to pull way out to have good intonation, like all the way out... I love the sound, I'm playing on a YTS-62

doing the lords work providing us with high level historical journalism, lovely video. i have a selmer 42 paris and a 1925 gold plated conn, whatever the difference y’all find in the horns all i can say is the conn makes me happier to pick up and play <3
