Could you describe the LA's design for a little bit？like the chamber, baffle and such. Is it a more warm and subtone one than tone edge?

Wasn't in the market for a new piece (already have 3 old Links) but one of the online stores had a great deal on a STM V 7* "open box" on Black Friday. It's an awesome mouthpiece!

Where have you been able to find of these STM V's online?

The STM V has a good tone but I can't tell if it's just your own playing haha. But also it seems like it might be a bit too hard of a setup and took some adjustment to make it really speak? Could also be the ligature as well. Definitely could hear what you meant by the LA V wanting to subtone, seemed like it gravitates towards that from medium volume down. Seems like it takes a lot more to push it than the STM V

I'm personally not a fan of the hard rubber piece that you were playing towards the end of the video, it just sounded stuffy. Maybe it sounded different in the room. I'm curious how it felt to play.

Hi Andrew - the piece itself plays really free, but the stuffy sort of sound you're hearing was due to a particularly tough reed (even though I tend to play quite dark regardless). When I put on a more vibrant reed, the piece responded incredibly fast and is super flexible

Kinda arbitrary. Links are just Links if they are recent production. Just find one you like regardless of what it is supposed to do.

I dont like them.
