    Could I control the lights remotely if I go out of town/ not in the house? Or do I have to be in my house?

    Hi, do you use dumb switch for the smart fan or it can be use with smart switch? I read up that smart switches is not compatible with smart fan due to the impulse load.

    We are using a smart switch for our ceiling fan with no issues. Modern fans should be compatible.

    Hi, may I check where did you get the mirror with the back hanger (@8:30)? Also what's your kitchen counter top floor to top height, if it's <90cm do you reckon it might work better if it had been higher, say 90cm? (Reason for asking is I have been reading that ideal height would be 90cm while most contractors' default is 86-87cm). Thank you!

  • @LivingwithSun
    @LivingwithSunАй бұрын

    Hi the mirror is from IKEA. My kitchen countertop height is 85cm because I am short so I decided to build it shorter. I know some of our taller friends went with 90cm. I think it's up to you!

    I was looking exactly for that! Unfortunately, seems that aqara just offers the EU format for their wall switch, which are square shaped. Since I'm from brazil, our electrical switch boxes are rectangular, similar as to those in the US. Does anyone know of another smart switch with decoupled mode that fits in the rectangular format?

    Always discuss detailing often by the time carpenter has measure after updates...Floor Plan and on site is always different. As a client, please clear all your doubts and don't be afraid to ask and dont assume all ID offer the same type of standard deliverables. Regarding the cooker hood...the top cabinet has to come out beyond standard measurement but it's not practical...that recessed hood is Telescopic where it flushes...a few mm offset. Be specific with your dimensions. All laminated are low VOC...this is standard ACROSS ALL SINGAPORE Laminate Brands unless your carpenter cheapens out buying from Malaysia. Adhesive smell is what you call it toxic and theres nothing you can do about it...who the hell moves in during carpentry installation...

    @@LivingwithSun thanks for the quick reply! Based on your experience would you recommend this size of tile for flooring considering the warping/ lippage?

  • @LivingwithSun
    @LivingwithSun5 ай бұрын

    I think it depends on your tiler, tiles, and how much lippage you accept. If you look at our tiling video, our wooden tiles are slightly warped at the ends due to the length. But I think if you have a good tiler and don't offset the tiles too much in the pattern you should be good.

  • @LivingwithSun
    @LivingwithSun5 ай бұрын

    You can use a coin to check if your wall tiles are hollow if you're worried about the condition (I have a video about tiling). If not then just hack and plaster should also be cheaper than hacking and retiling.
