The renovation for our 4RM HDB BTO resale flat is complete! We filmed this video before our Japandi Home Tour video. When we did our renovation, we decided to keep the front door and bedroom doors instead of replacing them to save money and resources. To make the doors fit better with our space, we decided to paint them white ourselves! DIY door painting is actually really easy and fun and we managed to do a decent job as amateurs. In this video we show you how to paint laminated doors. We made a bunch of mistakes along the way but it still turned out great. If you're looking to do a mini-makeover for your space, why not try painting your doors a different colour? This video will show you how we painted our doors on the hinge. It's really easy and you can use water-based paint -- we went with Nippon Paint Aqua Bodelac.

Not a good idea, paint will peel off when you accidentally scratch the door.

Yes that happened with our bedroom doors (shown at the end of the video). Our front door is fine though! Depends on the material of the door that you are painting on.
You could have wrapped your door.

Yup! That's another great option. We decided to paint it ourselves since it's cheaper than wrapping and we just wanted a solid colour 😊
