  I didn't understand, if poison takes 12% of the opponent's life, how come I need 13.64% more raw damage? Or weak to poison, how is 24% (2 pulses) of life worth 56.25% more damage to raw weapons? Please answer

  I know this build is outdated but I think it could go absolutely crazy if you just replace a few pieces with prime malzeno parts

  I bought rise and sunbreak on PS5, I haven't on switch but you never felt good with the controls. Now I am far more comfortable and I find it much easier to use my swag axe. I'm currently still in rise and I'm about to clear six stars but right now I'm more focusing on upgrading and unlocking making different axes. My biggest issue though is my defense I still feel under armored. But anyway thanks for these videos It makes it easier to figure out what skills to go for or decorations to get so I can get the armor then find to my bills so I can really let loose.

  I run max dragon heart, dragon converse along with 1 level of frienzy bloodlust, bloodlust l, colenances and wind mantle with comfy skill max evade extender with bladescale i have other nice skills but those are my primary ones on a four piece risen valstrax and risen kushala arms

  Hmm... Was considering picking up Switch Axe in Rise, but looking at this, playing it in a "Use the sword as main/only use morph attacks" being the objectively best way by far, I understand this weapon is (no longer) for me. I enjoyed using it a lot in 3U and 4U, as axe main, and then only using sword mode to "get rid" of the phial charge. That said, this is a super informative and really well thought out guide! Would love to see you do more guides for more weapons!

  Yeah that’s right in gereral. Sometimes zero sum is the better choice because you’re able to stick on the monster.

  i have a question because of the dragonheart+Dragonconversion combo. Doesn´t this only work with dragon weapons because dragonheart gives you dragonblight?

  So, what I'm seeing is: target head from tyke start, dodge first attacks, use special and target forearms after, dodge the roar, break forearms while he's charged up, then target head again while he's on the ground, hopefully with another special.

  Ah Switchaxe, the amalgamation of 4 weapons, hunting horn, greatsword, longsword and bow. Hunting horn in Axe mode, Greatsword movement speed, Longsword fluidity in Sword mode and Bow vial system.

  The monster hp scaling with more people need to change. I can solo 7 stars but if I did a 7 star in a group I can't kill it don't get me started on 8 stars I can't kill the lowest level 8s with maxed out gear. I can't even pull in more people to help because it doesn't.

  Absolutely top notch quality guide! I wish all other weapon guides I've watched so far are like yours. I'm not interested in constant jokes, completely skipping important sections like attacks & combos, or ignore everything from Rise and only focus on Sunbreak.   Something for anyone stumbling over this video after starting mhw due to the sudden boom in popularity your attack values in mhw aren't really higher compared to rise. For whatever reason Capcom applies a multiplier to your attack value based on your weapon type and that only shows up in your stats page and isn't used for damage calculation (this is mostly done in the first game of a generation, probably so newcomers understand that different weapon types deal different amounts of damage)

  redownloading the game bought rise played it once and dropped it. i was ls main and was really good at it now after one year im getting back at it and i wanna try to main a new weapon and im pretty sure its either switch axe or dual blade. was maining ls since release of monster hunter freedom unite

  Also in MP your team's DPS over a hunt will be higher with exhaust or paralysis phial. Your team will have more windows to just nuke the monster. Counter, ZSD and flying wyvern along with a few attacks in the middle will fill 1/3rd of the exhaust bar of a monster.
