A lawnmower blade is a knife. I've seen guys who were professional knife sharpeners and they never sharpen on only one side. Just saying
why not use rubber gloves or stopper - can't be good for skin/blood stream
after a twelve pack of silver bullets i was able to fix that fornicate carb thanks stevo
I have tried many mowers and never got the wash port to clean under mower. I use a putty knife.
I have the same motor on my tiller!
Thank you. Just subscribed!
Just did this test today, yup it was the cap. Still helping 5 years after first being uploaded.
This is an advert for battery mowers.
Kokanee maybe steve Heini's = skunky other than that great video
I'm sure this works the same way on my new yardmax rv 200pr0 2760 series . Just got it 3 weeks ago its suppose to be the yardmax pro series upgrade from the ones made just 6 months ago and before..thank you sir for that info and the video..
Amazon link doesn't work
Thanks
How do I remove the bowl that feels like it's glued onto carb?
Should I use a funnel with a strainer when drinkin my beer?
He forgot to realize it was a stroke internal combustion engine, so obviously it has 4 cycles. DA
Absolutely no rush. I dont need it till tomorow
Thank God for men like you that know this all this stuff and make videos to help people like me. I’m a carpenter and anything mechanical pisses me off if I try to figure out it out on my own. I was figuring it would be something much more complex and it wasn’t 👍
What's going to happen when your Dr. says you can't drink anymore??
666k! Lets get him out of this number
😂😂 never say no rush too a tyre fitter either 😂😂😂😂
Great video, very informative.
Thank you!
My TroyBilt is over 10 years old and it has no greese fittings whatsoever anywhere with never a failure. Ron W4BIN
the frame of the rider rots out before any deck breaking !!! after 10+yrs I only replaced 3 deck spindles on 14 riding mowers !!! how do you grease sealed bearings ??? and it was where it bolts to the frame that broke and never had a bearing go out !!!
50ml to 1 liter !!! I have always run. any less I end up taking the machine back to the store within 2 days !!! so 50:1 always worked fine !!! anything less means you have many to throw at new parts !!!
Thanks for bringing my go to guy!
You're Welcome...
I have a John Deere. I'll be checking that very soon. Thanks Steve Bob out
Steve, I'm using Huskvarna Saws Big to small, Husky XP oil at 50/1, works Fine, I have Also used Marine Two Stroke oil, for Years, Looking in Cylinder, bore scope ,I think it works as well or better. I'm Talking 395XP, Modern Saws X Torque 372 XP All the way Down, Even Vintage Huskies,40 years old. Ran it by a Tech I knew at Baileys I CA. No Worries, 91 O. pump fuel.
Yes, but it doesn't tell you that the plug is good even if it sparks. Sometimes the plug will fire when tested that way, but under pressure it won't. It's is somewhat rare though. At least this proves that the power is there to provide the spark and that's what the video is for. Right?
Enjoyed this so much I am going to go start my grill. 😂 Thanks.
Have fun!
Can't blame you one bit , no-one should expect you to do this for free , that's total BS ! Thanks for all you do providing solid helpful info along the way.
Saved the day!
Right on
How much would it matter after the warranty period? I've had my 1988~ Honda H3011 for about 20 years and I am not the first owner. So here in 2024 I needed 4 screws for the steering column cover. It cost me over $6/screw for an OEM part including ship & tax very expensive but a deck screw would have looked obviously out of place. I don't know a thing about John Deeres but pretty much most parts are still available for Honda lawn mowers reaching all the way back from the 80's. And whether I bought my mower from a big box store a dealership or off of craigslist after the warranty parts availability is key.
This fixed my issue after watching your video on cleaning the carb for it to turn over. My vent is a little pipe that’s on the side of the tank. Thanks for the help
Nice work!
So i wonder if it creates fumes in the container and if so will putting it in a sealed container would it build pressure for a prolonged period of time?
The algo is REAL! This vid came reccomended EXACTLY at the moment I was cussing out my dogs LITERALLY for chewing up the string 😂 such a BLESSING IN DISGUISE & on the Sons day 😮 holy spirits listening like ai GODS 🧘🏽♂️
Good stuff but there is no reason to pull the spark plug to do this. Simply don't depress the safety bar on the handle. Now the compression of the piston at TDC is even more apparent and they engine will NOT start.
Thanks Steve. I killed the chains on two of my three saws after the Derecho here in Houston the past few days. This helped me to order replacements. Can you tell us a bit about the difference in tooth count -- what it does for and against you -- assuming the other parameters on the chain (pitch and drive width) are the same?
I think John Deere is pure junk, I have a new mower, $3267.00, it has 15 hours on it, I have had it for a year. I am afraid to run it, because I am afraid it will fall apart. Plastic parts, feels like you are driving a disposable mower.
Great tip! I had already been tipping it in that direction, but my reason was to put the gas cap on the upper side. I hadn't even thought of engine oil, hydro-lock or anything. I suppose I must have had times when the combustion chamber filled with oil, but since I didn't start it right away, it had time to drain back down. But now having seen this, I will always do it this way. Thanks!
Right on
I don't care if washports work. I just care that Steve knows how to loosen bolts, with ATF, and acetone.
Thanks now tips on how to feed that stupid little fuel line back thew that tiny hole .....
Just remember it's just your opinion.
Because these little engines are so reliable, they are their own worst enemy . You pull the cord , they start and run happily forever, and the basic maintenance gets neglected .
This worked like a charm. Thanks!
You're welcome!
This video made me a subscriber
Thank You...
If they are going to be that sleazy I'll never buy Honda again 👎
What about the top bearing?
As a picture tells a thousand words, as a connoisseur of art, as a no nonsense type of chap, I did the wet membrane to spark as depicted in the image. It works, but now my nether regions emit an otherworldly glow.
I'll bet that Banana bread beer had plenty of spark. 😂 So was it any good? My daughter brought home a dill pickle beer. I haven't been brave enough to try it yet. 😂😂
Brilliant thank you so much
You are very welcome
