bison's heavy punch is a Blue cancelable not red(training mode). but it cancels into all 3 supers. it's crazy. usually most characters having such normals only cancels to lvl3/2 but not all 3.

Akuma's walk speed alone means he has no 7-3 match-ups - let alone his other tools.

That was Capcom's intent. Overload Bison with all the top tier traits. Akuma sells Season 1 and Bison sells season 2. We will never get a good fighting game again. Every fighting game is now compromised by this DLC tuning BS. How can you take this game seriously when every DLC is guaranteed to be "meta breaking" and top tier? Hopefully some dimwit chimes in with a dusty ass meme.

Ed and Aki were both regarded as pretty weak/mid tier when released. And it took awhile for people to come around on Rashid. Hell most people don't even think Bison is that good.

The balance changes those characters receive weren't to sell passes, they are intended for the people who already own the characters and wish for them to be buffed. People don't buy dlc characters because they are strong, that doesn't make sense. Why would a casual player hard stuck gold 2 care if Ed is A-tier or B-tier? They buy characters because they like them and think they look cool. People won't play a character they don't like to play if they don't consider them fun or cool even if they are strong.

That's why Akuma must have jump back and jump forwards with two air fireballs and invincibility teleport and raging demon should be unstoppable upon punch, kick or jump as minimum buffs.

Bison's scissor kick is most def punishable by Low LK into DP or LP into Drive rush combo - all day depending on spacing can get LP into combo (all with Ken)
Unfortunately it takes a literal troglodyte to consistently scuff the spacing on scissor kicks

Watching this im convinced im playing alot of cheaters the amount of perfect hit confirms perfect timing on drive impact and perfect parrys these guys are doing they are out performing the pros

What I find annoying about Bison is the crmp range, the pure safety on block of just about everything except OD scissors, and the crazy whiff recovery he got.

Speaking of privileged fierces - Jamie’s is pretty dope, 5 or 6 startup, blows up any DI, and the opponent doesn’t take his turn because of the animation 😂. I think it’s -1 on block.
4:03 - bro Ken’s FB hurtbox is ridiculous. He’s like the only non-zoner shoto, because he can’t effectively play the FB/DP game like Guile, Akuma, Ryu, Juri, etc.
And it was beaten by a charged ex move specifically designed to beat fireballs....
@@maganvelemeny8843 yeah, but I don’t expect the same degree of usage as Akuma. Dictator has a very unique tool set, not as brain dead easy as Akuma. In general too, the game is very zoner-unfriendly. Guile is top 5, but his usage rate is way below.
