wow that was intense! Mago was reading everything perfectly the first set, then Angrybird started cancelling the drive rush, punishing the parry with throws. That was awesome. very tense...

Angrybird showed us even if someone lost the first 5 games, he has a chance for coming back, that's why 2-win games to qualify in tournaments is pretty low.

The final round of game 1 was so funny. At the end Angrybird is walking back and playing so afraid to avoid Mago's level 3. Kudo's to mago for decapitating him without resorting to needless slaughter.

Mago’s standing LP is used so well. Very difficult to master since it has low range.

did you only play those two FT5?

A few characters give Ken a tough time. Cammy is one of them. The Cammys in Japan is the reason they rank her so highly. The US n to a certain extent Europe Juri takes that position.

Almost all the top tier characters - DeeJay, JP, Chun, Juri as well as Cammy is a tough matchup for Ken.

December Mago clears

Yeah, just in raw optimization, this is the best Cammy I've seen. Punk still seems to have the quickest reactions though.

Interesting, I think ab wasn't being serious in this match.

i think maybe mago just brought up a lot of things with the cammy matchup that ab needs to go back to the lab with. he also barely went for any throw mixups which was weird

This was from September 2023, a relatively old match. As you can see, Mago is Master and it shows 173k LP instead of MR.

There is a "myth" (basically an interesting observation) that mago, who usually does alright and goes toe to toe with pros, during September mago somehow starts to destroy everyone.

First he destroy you and second FT 5 you destoey him

Please don't call him September Mago, use the proper Super God Mago 🙂
