    In the section about the "Parking Brake" I believe there is a mistake - he says that when you press the brake pedal it applies the front brakes - at that point it should be applying all 4 brakes. Otherwise, the comments about the "Parking Brake" are probably correct.

    Yeah, even if you knew the end of 3rd quarter or 4th quarter this offer would come back, then waiting doesn't make much sense because you are not going to beat 0.99%. Usually one waits for a better deal but in this case, you can't go lower and there is no guarantee this will come back.

    I also got the offer for lower financing for a 2024 model Y. I have a 2023 Model Y purchased Dec 2023. My trade-in offer is already over $10K lower than my original purchase price from 6 months ago. For me, taking advantage of the lower interest rate [among other things] makes my car nearly the same price as my 2023, but will be 1 year newer [thinking trade-in for when the refresh happens], but more importantly. The $7500 tax incentive. WILL THE REFRESHED MODEL Y BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE $7500 TAX INCENTIVE? I personally think the answer will be NO

    Actually you should charge to 100 percent. A full charge is actually 80 percent. System software wont actually charge to 100 percent. This mean 100 percent is actually 80 percent. Example when an ice care gauge say empty it actually has another 5 gallons in it.

    JJ hope your enjoying your "coal powered" EV (JJ do you own your own wind turbine and solar panel farm, oh I guess not) as it plummets in value every hour. And be nice to that undercarriage, one good scrape near those 8000 batteries (that burn at 4000 deg.), and your car's next trip will be to the junk yard. I'd be the first one in line for an EV if the physics made sense and at this point in time, it does not. Not from an environmental, engineering or any other point of view. Good luck.

If the battery pack isn't LFP, does that mean you can't full charge to 100% and beat the crap out of the battery? I currently love my 2023 M3 LFP, but I'm considering the Model Y for my wife / family car. Thanks!

    Well it all depends on if Elon and Tesla will announce and make the Model 2 less expensive vehicles. Myself I didn't wait. August 2023 I bought the Model Y LR vehicle. I did not want the 2024 Model Y with no stalks and extra cosmetic features. Also at that time the Model 2 was a pipedream not knowing if it would even be produced. If you sit too long on deciding when to buy a Tesla, you will probably never pull the trigger and buy one. Just my thoughts. I enjoy my recent purchase of the Model Y.

  • @TheWildwoodPicker

    I just bought a New 2024 MY LR with the 0.99% Rate, my Trade and Cash Down. I should have it Paid in Full in about 6 months or less after delivery. A Paid in Full Car is 100% the way to go. I don't want car payments dragging me down. I wanted to wait for the MY Juniper, but I thought about how long the wait might be with everyone wanting to order a New 2025 MY Juniper when they do drop. It could be a long wait, like maybe up to a year for delivery after they drop and the mad rush to buy one begins. Also, no one can give us a definitive answer on when they will even be available?! Is it late 2024, early 2025, no one knows. I'm sure they will have everything the M3H has, but no one really knows for sure if that will be the case. You just can't assume anything when it comes to Elon Musk, he is truly an enigma. My plan, since it seems Tesla EVs seem to hold a good value. Is to buy now, own for 2yrs to 3yrs, keep saving up a nice pile of down payment cash, then trade in the 2024 MY LR for the new MY Juniper, or maybe by then move up into the Model X. That's the plan, I hope it goes well for me. Side Note: I do wish the 2024 MY LR had ventilated seats, but I can live without for a couple of years.

    No reason to pay in full when interest rate is 0.99% and 1years cd’s are sitting at over 3%

  • @TheWildwoodPicker
    @TheWildwoodPicker3 күн бұрын

    @@teddy0139I would rather not have car payment, for the sinple reason that The Borrower is Slave to The Lender. If I don't have a car payment, especially on a depreciating asset then I get to keep more money in my pocket that I can invest or save up for something else that I would like to buy. ‘The Rich Rules Over the Poor, and the Borrower Is Slave to the Lender.’ - Proverbs 22:7 emphasizes the importance of staying out of debt. In King Solomon’s time, debtors actually could become like slaves to their wealthy lenders. That doesn’t happen today, but the metaphorical slavery of debt is alive and well. When you go into debt, you’re essentially sacrificing future cash flow to have more capital now. This can lead to years of monthly payments that eat away at your budget and restrict your financial freedom. Your wrong on your thinking just because of a 0.99% rate. My Balance will be $8000.00 and my car payment will be $115.00 per month which equals $1,380.00 a year. Three percent intrest on the $8000.00 to pay the car off equals $240.00 if I left that money in the bank at 3% interest rate or a 3% CD etc. If I don't have a car payment and save that $115.00 each month I will make out 5.75X better in the long run by not having a car payment and saving that $115.00 each month. Why would I want to line someone elses pockets when I can continue to line mine?

    Too expensive. Tires need to be changed all the time, and are pricey. The weight. Once the battery reaches the end of it's life its game over, electrical fires are very hard to out out and any water damage or flooding can cause it. The US electrical grid is not up to par. Commuting long distances is a nightmare. Trying to find someone to work on it when it inevitably does have issues. Being monitered 24-7 by Tesla and basically driving a computer that can be hacked into. Emergency use vehicle is probably not a good choice. Tacky loo,ing interior and cheaply made. My toyota hybrid will outlast every tesla on the road today. And i own another toyota, a 2006 Scion that still runs to this day. But please keep telling me to finance a car that may or may not even be driving 5 years down the road.... And safety. Yeah toyota has been proving their cars safe longer than tesla has been in business. Most toyotas come with a five star crash rating.
