I love mine Do find it to be accurate? I pumped up my model y to 42 but the next time I checked the pressure in the Tesla app they were around 45

Yes. Tesla reads last known psi and will not read until the car has driven ~.5 miles. So the 45 you’re seeing is from your last drive. Tire pressure rises as your drive and the tires heats up. This is to be expected and already calculated for. Do not try to under inflate to achieve 42 psi when driving.

Tesla tires are normal tires with sound dampening foam inside.
