  I was at Breslin’s infamous performance of this in Baltimore back in 1974. Halfway through the flute solo he got into it with a guy up front and jumped off stage, bashing the guy’s head into the concrete. We all thought it was part of the act until security pulled him off and we saw the guy he was throttling had a red froth coming out of his head. No charges were ever filed because everybody knew not to fuck with Mayor Breslin.

  This is a true story--- Several years ago, probably when they were in high school, and old friend of mine and one of his friends got into an argument about whether you could shit pure corn kernels if all you ate was corn for a period of time. My friend said he didn't think it worked like that. About four days later he was hanging out with this guy again with a couple of their other friends. No one knew about the strict corn diet. Dude takes a running jump off the porch, yanks down his shorts, and upon landing unleashes a torrent of corn kernels from his asshole. Just corn, nothing else. My friend said it was one of the single most impressive things he has ever seen. This took place near Tower Grove Park in St Louis.

  Mayor Breslin was an angry icon of the disco world who brought wonder glasses and pencil-thin mustaches back in style at dance floors and bowling alleys everywhere. Contrary to popular belief, he was not nearly the rage-fueled maniac his persona and lyrics portrayed him to be. I believe it was in 1974, when opening for Elton John at the LeBelle, that he was seen assisting one of John's injured roadies before the Rocketman himself went on. Of course, Breslin still had to keep up appearances. So, before he left the theatre, he pulled a lampshade over manager John Reid's head before punching him right in the solar plexus. He never played the La Belle again, but Sir Elton still sends him birthday cards.

  I got fired from Verizon back in the day because I took a semi long dump at work and when I walked out a coworker was sitting there. I playfully said I was hiding in there.
