There is so much I didn't know about guinea pigs when we first got them for my daughter and I want to help all guinea pigs owners learn as much as they can to give their guinea pigs a better life because they are very different to other small pets with different needs and behaviour..

Can a make a mix of all appropriate vegetables or only one vegetable a time ?? Eg. a mix of some cilantro, peppers, apple ?

How can I order
Also returning my girls to their home, I get down to my knees and holding them close to me, I lower my body to the floor so they (1 piggie at a time! ) can walk out from my arms and there's no danger of them suddenly leaping from a height, they're so much happier this way. I used the 'barricade' method which reduced chasing and stress, they were much happier. They're more than happy at nail-trimming time: Clip four nails, fuss, treat and brush. I have 3 piggies and it can and does take time, but it doesn't matter, and it shouldn't matter, as long as my pets are happy and healthy, THAT'S what matters 😍🐹 Great Video and very informative for people who are just setting on their journey to owning these wonderful little animals. I've had them for years and still love watching channels like yours, and Scotty and Saskia, to name just a few! You're all Brilliant 😇😘
I had to buy a guinea pig wheel for my hamster because the ones for hamsters weren't big enough. He's also in a guinea pig cage that somebody made themselves that is obviously not big enough for a guinea pig (it's barely enough for a hamster, but it was the only good one available for me at the time).

I use a mixture of both. I use aubiose under their hay area where there's loads of room for all 3 to gather, and eat/burrow/toilet and relax. I put a huge pile in there along with wooden hayracks that doesn't allow any soiling. The fleece area is soft and cozy and they do use the pockets to hide and bridges for fun/zoomies/ hiding. I'm lucky enough to wash my fleeces/dry them elsewhere in the same day (Sshhh!🤫) 😂. I use a pet laundry bag, they're a god-send! Bit of a long one! 🤭 I'm also in the process of designing a new home for my 3 girls, no more poops getting stuck in the grids and connectors!! Yippee!! 😂 I love your Guinea Pigs' home, very smart and stream-lined! 😘. Very lucky and Gorgeous piggies! 😍 I should have added that I clean my piggies home each evening. There's a great satisfaction in seeing them all pop-corning! Happy, Healthy piggies ! 😁Up-date: New wooden piggie home now built! 😀 Wow! I can't believe the difference! And why it's taken so long for the light-bulb moment!!🤣. It's what we would call 'kerb appeal' when viewing a new house! 🏠👍. My piggies have really settled in and I'm thrilled with it myself! 😁. I enjoyed building it too! 🙂. oooo! We're Loving it! 😍🐹

Is the farm hay you get dust free though ? I've been buying some from a farm and just recently have been concerned about the dust 😢

I love the video! It is important people understand the attention and care they require. I was amazed to learn how sociable they are! I got guinea pigs because I could not have a dog in my apartment, and let me tell you they give me more attention than any of my dogs ever did...🥰 My Piggies Boom Boom and Pow Pow are Happy Piggies, we have them in our living room with an open door policy when we're home, so they roam freely ❤
My female guinea pig is living with a male She's small like 1 or 1 and half months should i put them away from each other?
If i separate them for 30.mins they start making noise so it means they can't live away
i took the mama to the vet the moment she had the baby's

I can’t afford two guinea pigs but I’ve had experience with other small animals very similar to guinea pigs will I be okay to get one

This might sound like a very silly question, but I have just brought home two beautiful little girl piggies and they are settling well. They are running around, popcorning and all the positive things, and one of them is now quite brave when I pick her up! But they haven't done any wheeking yet! They know to expect their brekky greens and tea time greens at the same time each day - is it just that they are not quite sure of their routine yet? Or maybe aren't quite bonded with me enough to demand their food?

Careful on the parsley. Yes, they love it, but it's high in calcium and you don't want your piggie to develop stones.
I just wanted to say how helpful these videos have been for me. I’ve been researching about different alternatives, but it’s been really difficult to find out how they actually perform. Guinea pigs are from Peru where it is around 17 degrees centigrade all year round. Don't keep Guinea pigs outside, bring them indoors in winter.
