Hi! About a year ago I got another un-neutered male guinea pig. Him and my original guinea pig don’t get along I had let them share a cage but one of them gave the other scars. They fight through the separator in there cage less now but still do a little. I need them to get along because I don’t have enough time to play with each of them every day and worry about them getting depressed. How can I get them to bond after all this time is it even possible?

It depends on things like, their age and how much space they had in the cage. When they don’t get along and if you would reintroduce them they could hurt each other unnecessary. Although there are unneutered males that live together just fine, some don’t. Some do better as neutered males with one ore two females. It would be good to ask some advice from a nearby guinea pig rescue to see if you can find a solution that really works for you and the guinea pigs. I can imagine that this is not what you had hoped for, as it is now.

@@angeliqueruis4520 Thank you so much, that helps a lot. I will check with the the vet and a local shelter. the shelter I adopted from gave me no advice and didn't even know if my guinea pigs would get along

It would be wise to hear the suggestions from the rescue before the vet visit so that you can make wise decisions, since they have a lot of experience with male guinea pigs and bondings.
