Guinea pigs of any age, are most adorable and cute. I love them and have 2 males, one is about 4 1/2 yrs. old and the other is about 2 1/2 years old.

Hey I need your help so today i put my Guinea pig in her play pen and I noticed that she was eating her poop and I am worried that something is wrong is it normal for them to eat there poop

Hi! Don't worry it's totally normal for them to do so and it's good if they eat their poop and it has nutrients so don't worry!

No, she's in her adolescent/teenage years.

Do you find that guinea pigs have better access to rescues and higher quality vet care where you are? Where I am in the U.S., quality guinea pig medical care is very rare, there are more pet stores than rescues, and vets don’t specialize in guinea pigs, there really isn’t specific schooling for vets that I know of. I sincerely hope that outside the U.S. (besides the Central and South America where guinea pigs are food items obviously), that there is better care available for them. I find the state of guinea pig medical care and overall veterinary knowledge inside the U.S. to be deplorable.
