Lacona's 3T22 siren did the same thing when it powered up for the 7AM, noon and 6 PM blasts last I checked, as well as fire calls; however, when that siren powered down, the damper immediately opened up again. The most interesting part of that siren is that during the three-minute alerts, the damper didn't close at all, causing the wind up to sound different and the pitch to be lowered. I don't know if that siren was replaced or not because the Sentry 10V2T in Milo was replaced when Warren County's system was upgraded. I had wanted to get some videos of Lacona's siren for a while now.

I didn't realise how nice the area around this mobil directo was. The google street view is pretty gloomy, but on this video it's surrounded by a lot of nice greenery!

More of a rotational Fedelcode than anything else, really. 8-port Directos had their rotors/stators sourced from Federal Electric.

Somewhat incorrect..only the first BN prototype units had Federal rotors. The later ones appeared to have been patterned off of the federal units but were not made by federal

That’s just a symptom of being old haha. This was was probably set to a timing like West Bank in Minneapolis at one point, but as it aged it just drifted out of time. It used to wind up for longer.
