After the 1:45 drill in Ashby, Jacob and I retrieved my audio recorder from Parkers Prairie and confirmed that their Decot did not work. Following that we returned to Alexandria to check on the western 1003, and it did not appear to rotate, so we switched gears and decided to try something else. After some deliberation we picked the other siren in Parkers Prairie, a 7V8, as our 6:45 target. Jacob and I have both been on a crusade to increase our roster of Sentry sirens as of recent, so it worked out fine in the end since neither of us had heard one. Otter Tail County was a little late setting the sirens off, but this little guy blew us away with how loud it was! It was shaking the sidewalk 300 feet away where we were standing, and was earth-shattering underneath it. Definitely one of the most impressive sirens I've heard! Thanks for watching, and enjoy!
