I just bought a used one, took it apart, hauled it back home, put it back together. All the pulleys and pivot points for the locking tabs, I took apart and greased as mine doesn't have the grease zerks in place. The operation is now much smoother and unlocking linkage has no binding. I like it alot. I also have a 11K 2 post lift.

I've had a Ram dually on my lift, but it had stock tires and no wheel spacers. I just took the measurement from outside of cable to outside of the other cable and it is 110.5 inches. I'm used to undercoating cars. On them, you never want to use anything that dries because it eventually dries, cracks and ends up trapping more moisture than it prevents, and rots the metal even quicker. Do you not worry about the trapped rust that under the POR15? I bought a ZT! last Fall and before I used it I coated the underside of the deck with a full can Amsoil MPHD and let it dry well before I used it.

It keeps moisture away from metal with a coating that is strengthened by continued exposure to moisture". They have much more detail on their website. por15.com/pages/faqs

I use the aluminum centering cones that also protect the wheel. I used Counteract balancing beads on my truck tires and the harbor freight bubble balancer on my son's tires. I've also bolted the tire machine to my garage floor and reenforced the bead breaker tube and arms.

@@mickeyj4228 Great developments!! I'm ordering a duck head mod from Amazon - not sure how good it's gonna be, but I'll let you know. I thought about using the beads, but I found a completely intact Sears "Allstate" bubble balancer from the 60's I've had around the house for years and I though I would try that. I bought the drop in anchors, drill and bolts to mount mine to the garage floor as well. I'm impressed with how well-built the HF tire changer is - powder coat and everything! Just bought it yesterday...

With the increased cost of labor, this thing pays for itself quickly. I also recommend the centering cones and tire bead clamps. I have links to everything in the description section of this video. kzread.info/dash/bejne/aaqu1bOGgqXTlKQ.html

Thank you for your comment. Yes it is. It is heavier and better built than the backyard buddy. I believe the backyard buddy is still manufactured in Ohio. Backyard buddy has 4X4 posts vs the 5X5 post of the Advantage line. Here is a video with the owner/CEO discussing the factory with Wayne Carini. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dJ16yLeAoZebhtY.html

Disappointed to see these are made in China now. Isn’t this the same company that used to make the Backyard Buddy that was manufactured in Ohio?

This is so much faster. Does advantage give this 220v option for all their lifts.

Not to my knowledge. I think many folks would pay for this upgrade. The 220V motor is standard on the SS-11000-WD. Thank you for your comment and Happy Thanksgiving!

@@mickeyj4228 Ya if they have the 220v for the other model it should be an easy upgrade at purchase.
