Welcome to my channel. It's not a podcast, and it never will be. It's really more of a diary of what I'm doing with fiber.
You'll probably also see a slice of my life if you come along with me, and that will include the good, the bad, and the horrible warning. The truth is, this channel is me selfishly trying to learn from you, so comment and tell me what I did wrong. Tell me how you do it. Tell me what you liked, or tell me what you hated.

So good to see this cross my feed. I am glad to see you are making beautiful things and relaxing. I hope you have a wonderful summer.
Huh... I just found your channel and I'll be in Allegan tomorrow for the antique fair! I was at the fiber festival last year (when this was filmed) but more for yarn. Now I'm getting into spinning, hopefully I see you there. Yay me!
I would hold it with another wool yarn and knit a winter toque.
Amazing
Beautiful colors and gorgeous work as always! thank you for sharing your blissful moment with us. You are such an inspiration. Wishing you a restful, relaxing and enjoyable summer! Love ya Lady!
Hey Trish! I began my Journey, with Tour de Fleete i am a beginner! My Plan is to spun my Texel lamb Wool that i now dye In many ColorSync, and than i make a batt for a Pullover for me!❤
“Ooooh ooooh oooohhhhh Mr Kotter!!!….” //waves arm around wildly// 😂😂😂
Good to see you again! I love the sock.
Love this!!! Looks like you're having a great time, love you, miss you!!!!
Do you still like your e-spinner?
Giverny pronounciation was parfait!
I'm so glad you went with the coral!! Totally a mermaid theme.
You inspire so many❤ my soon to be 5 yo wanted to try the blendingboard today. He wanted so make Shadow-yarn. Shadow is a carracter from sonic and his colors are black , red, and gold. So we made some rolags. You are awesome Trish 🫶🏻
Pretty colour
Good to see...well, your hands...lol...❤❤❤
So happy yo see you again. Enjoy summer!!!
Those are lovely. Also what a great view of the pool. I’d be parked there all the time. So rainy here. We need some sunshine.
Just wondering: is my youtube glitchy or is this really the first video from Trish in 2 months? I got a new phone and had to re-download the youtube app, so I thought something was probably wrong with the app, but at the same time I was also kind of worried something had happend... Anyway, I'm really glad I got the notification for this. I've really been missing your videos!!
Love the blue pop! Glad to see you are enjoying your summer
Great to see you I have finally managed to get the book🤗
So good to see you again ! I love the colors of the socks
Love the black with that pop of blue!! Knitting out there with that pool in the back ground looks peaceful and inviting. Our temps and humidity haven’t been conducive to knitting outside, so I knit inside with the air going and look out the sliding glass doors ;).
Good to see you ,I have missed seeing your videos.
What's the blue you're using? Has your weather been good? When I was in Saginaw it was pretty hot out already. Between the bugs and the rain the garden isn't doing so well. Hope yours is fairing better.
The garden is doing well. The heat is so good for it as long as it gets enough water. Just ate our first zucchini! I hope yours starts doing better
@@FiberLoveDiary Holy cow...a zucchini already...that's awesome!! Thanks, I hope so too.
Hiiiiiiii! ❤❤❤❤
Love the colors and pattern. So beautiful!
I’m still plugging away on my Jili socks. I hope to have them done this weekend. ❤
Love the sock, is it your own pattern? \(^-^)/
It's called porchlight from 52 weeks of socks
@@FiberLoveDiary (facepalm) Of course...52 weeks of socks...sometimes the brain is just disengaged!!!
Loving those socks! Kills me , I know how to knit like this and I do it often when I knit color work but I just cant get my brain and body to switch to this style.
When I switched, it took a lot of effort to build the muscle memory, so I do understand
such fun from start to creations to finish sue
Hi! I'm loving your videos and have a few questions? I'm very new to weaving and have a 24" Schacht RH. Can you please tell me if you doubled each warp throw the reed? What size dent please? Thanks so much!
These are BEAUTIFUL! ❤ They match your sweater perfectly!
Once again just amazing I learned a ton Thank you
Beautiful fleece, I have been waiting for you reappear on KZread 😢 no sign of you yet, I do hope all is well,, nor sure if I have missed you letting us know when you will be back, we'll I have missed your introduction for sure, hope to welcome 🙏 you back soon
It's very similar to the Scandinavian way to warp ... I have a Glimåkra Julia and it's how the directions are written to warp it. The only difference I noticed was how you transfered the cross to the back of the loom ... on the Julia i only lift the lease stick nearest the reed on end and it gives a shed behind then I place the 1st stick in there then once 1st stick is removed i turn the 2nd stick on end and transfer the cross... the treads all lift up when the lease stick is raised. Hope you understand what I mean. Great video!
I loved your review on eel wheel. Thank you for the 100 day warning. I got it out of the box. I loved your green roving also. Thank you so much
What an inspirational video! Thank-you for the tips & tricks. I've spun for over 30 years and have started spinning long draw using your suggestions! Thanks much! Katt
What an awesome tutorial! I loved it when you played part of it in long draw! Thank-you so much! Katt
Thanks for sharing this! It was very informative. I love making rolags.
Did you carder the roving after dry?
I know this is an older vid, but you got my two fave breeds in a video and I'm really enjoying it. :) I still have many other breeds to try but Cheviot is a constant companion and Charollais is a brand new love. So springy!😊
I’m so, so sorry! Take the time you need. We’ll be here for you whenever you’re ready to come back.
Thank you for this!!! I do not have the space to do a direct warp. I just could not translate instructions for using this type of prepared warp on a floor loom to how I would do it on my simple Northfield rigid heddle table loom. Now I see!!!! I will try it tomorrow!
Which RHL do you have? And how wide is it?
I clicked on the link but the warping bar did come up??
In the KZread you are using a warping bar?? Where do you find them?
thanks, Trisha, my friend has a flock of Shetland sheep ….all colors
Hi there! Can I still buy a warping bar from you?
Yes, my shop is still open. Fiberlovediary.com
Wow!! You’ve opened up a whole world for me. I too found little to none on how to be creative with color on a sectional and not just have every section be a repeat. You are a fabulous teacher. Extremely clear and concise instructions. Thank you SOOOOO much. !!!
I do some dyeing for gun love your ones ❤❤
