Amen to the treadle too fast! That was me until I got adjusted to my wheel, I'm much better now. Thank you Trish for doing this series.

I'm going to watch these even though I've been spinning for several years. Brushing up and learning new things is always good!

I’m loving the bite sized videos. Not too much information all at once and easy to find specific information later.

I transitioned fairly easily from a drop spindle to the wheel. Full on spinning - after 20 years using a spindle. 🙂

I love how much you break this down. I was one who tried to do it all at once, immediately. Patience would’ve helped me!

This is brilliant, Trish! I wish i had some of this knowledge when I started. I'm excited for the new spinners that are watching these. And I agree with SBVancouver, they're a good length and not overwhelming.

Another great video where you explain everything so well! 🙌🏼 I also love the sound wheels make, especially from the Matchless! I’m that way with looms too 😂

I started out on an EEW 2.0 to teach myself to draft. And I practiced on commercial yarn, that is a great tip. Start with success driven technique to build on future success. So satisfying when you get it right!

Totally enjoying these. I always think of my drill press and my scrollsaw when I hear about how the whorls work since those also have a belt and pulleys to speed them up or slow them down LOL.

I do like both feet and with sock foot or barefoot. Counterclockwise was more difficult for me but slow was best for me too. I sure wish you had this when I was learning. It will help so many beginners

I think because I’ve been spinning almost 20 years (oh my gosh has it been that long?), I don’t think about all the steps because of muscle memory, I love muscle memory and habits!!

I feel called out with my "heavy metal" treadling. I'm definitely better off with the EEW. lol If I did get another wheel, since I can't control myself (think Dragula), what size whorl would I use for dk?
