    Use 3 fingers for a smaller pompom and use your scissors to really give the pompom a smooth appearance.

    Wait this is so many easier than the WikiHow methods. I was sceptical at first but wow ok this can take 15 minutes off my scrunchy making time. I was painstakingly trying to match the final seams up on the short sides, seams folded inwards, and using a ladder stitch. Much better the slide one end into the other! Gonna need longer fabric though!

    Thank you! I watched another tutorial that didn't specify which way to draw the lines and of course I drew them wrong and spent half an hour trying to fold the thing where the lines would meet up. Yours was much simpler.

    i dont get it when i tie the yarn around and cut, all the pom pom strings fall out. do i need to tie it around tighter or am i doing it wrong?
