  (Wish someone took the "realistic" approach- aka ammo you use doesn't designate you as ally or foe. Bullets are bullets and it would be actually a pretty good worldbuilding. Especially if a certain side trains and expects a certain type of ammo being used by their forces and then confusion and friendly fire ensues when someone uses unexpected colour for ammo) But well- we live in scummy timeline where people who have hand in creating Star Wars don't care about interesting and deep worldbuilding (wide as a pond, shallow as a puddle. And when it doesn't happen it's either squandered or happens exactly only ONCE) PS. If ya people wanna someone properass nerdout about energy weapons overall- go watch Science Insanity, he has a vid on all kinds of weapons in sci-fi and you would be suprised that lasers do can load "AP ROUNDS" and it is gas reliant.

  I think that it should depend where you get hit when your stabbed, obviously closer to the heart the deadlier the strike but it should be intensified and rare for it to happen whenever the writers want it too
