I think if Will sacrificed his life, it would be the most sad because they went through all of the trouble of getting him out of the upside down, and he is like you can see in the video is commonly left out and doesn’t really have a closer person, and saying, so if he sacrifices himself, everybody will look back on how they treated him and they would all be sad because they didn’t give him the respect and love and honor he deserved

I kinda believe that the Duffers didn't really forget about Will's birthday. In several times in season 4 they hited about forgetting birthdays: Murray saying "you can be late at a one year's birthday party, because he's so young he won't even remember it" Susie remembering Dustin's birthday to the minute (while Mike doesn't remember it) Will saying "Bet mom forgot something" when the policemen arrived to take Eleven. As for the characters, alla of them could have forgotten it, since: Joyce just discovered that Hopper could be alive and she is about to go on a very dangerous route Jonathan is always high Eleven is to worried about Mike coming there Mike was forcing himself to be detached from Will for "reasons"... The fact that the Duffers claimed thay forgot about it could simly mean that this could be an important plot point in season 5, which has still to remain unexpected (maybe Vecna attacking Will starting from this event?) The fight between Mike and Will at Rink'o Mania is even more hurtful when you consider it could be on Will's birthday...

Am I the only one who has a soft spot for Will’s bad haircut? 😂 As unfortunate as it looks, the bowl cut was pretty popular for kids in the 80s (I even briefly had one in the early 90s as a little girl lol)

All of the haircuts have suited his character, which were most likely done by his Mom. It is nice he may get an upgrade though, his hair in S4 was a little awkward, but he was too, so it fits him in a way, I guess?😄

@@luzxy.x i doubt it. jonathan would need a big character arc. he's never been the person to get himself involved. others involved him. he would need to toughen up & become brave. only way he could sacrifice himself is if everyone is split up because as long as will, el, hopper, joyce, or even steve are in the mixing... i don't think they would allow jonathan to do that. especially with hopper & joyce dating... hopper would not stand for joyce or any of her kids dying if he can prevent it. plus jonathan is not well educated about vecna's full potential & his danger. it would be a senseless kill imho but we'll have to see.

with that will phto of will in castle byers next to his little kid self, we can pretty much confirm that the first scene in season 5 episode one script where there is a little kid singing is actually will singing "Should i stay or should i go" in the upside down. so the first scene of the season is little will singing in the upside down

About season 5 deaths, there could have been some hints in season 3: Erika saying at Lucas "Why are you still not dead?" out of nowhere. Mike and Lucas sacrificing themselves in Will's D&D campaign, just to end it fast. Dustin in the Russian elevator saying to Steve: "If you die, I die" In season 2 Steve said to Billy "No, you are dead!" and in season 3...

I wouldn't be surprised if they made it so the cliffhanger at the end was part of the timeskip. I mean sure they are in their season 4 appearances, but it wouldn't make any sense for vecna to be alive and wrecking havoc for 2+ years, it would make a lot more sense to have had him disappear for 2 years and come back.

i agree. i think will is the only person who knows vecna's weakness. Since will was a spy for vecna he also knew vecna's plans, emotions, etc. before they even happened. he knew that closing the gate would weaken vecna. that said, i think his storyline will be tied to vecna's & the upside down. that said, if vecna and the upside down is destroyed... i think that a part of Will may also be gone. it could be his literal death or he may finally be 'set free' from the upside down & can move on with his life. i think will dying would be unfortunate though.

Whichever Duffer posts the pics on instagram has already stated that it is NOT a picture of Max and Lucas. It is specifically a pic of Sadie and Caleb between takes, NOT a scene being filmed. WE STILL DON'T KNOW WHATS HAPPENING WITH MAX

I think it's Lucas visiting Max in the hospital and playing Kate Bush for her. Perhaps it's a scene from an early episode while she is still in coma.

My theory is that Will Byers is going to have first some flashback of season 1 and then the same thing that happened to El will happens to Will maybe that's why they are going to do some CGI

this is very possible. i think they will be going back to the very first day will first went missing because the upside down was also 'stuck' in time when nancy + crew went there. i think it's stuck because will ended up being found + i don't know, it's possible that max may not be 'found' as well because she did not exist in hawkins as a character in the very beginning. she came a year after. my theory is that max's survival will be dependent on will's backstory from his time in the upside down.

The Duffers pride themselves on subverting tropes. If any tropes should be subverted, it’s bury your gays. I really hope they don’t kill off Will. I’ve seen some fans say that he should confess his love to Mike before sacrificing himself. I’ll puke if that happens. I hope he finds someone way better than Mike and goes on to have a happy and successful life.

@@josabby474 Sadly it's so much worse where I have seen hatred towards the fact that both he and his character are gay at all and it is a problem for some. Also I have seen some claiming he's " stealing " Els boyfriend. Totally dismissing the fact that Mike is not only Wills best friend but the boys knew each other almost 7 years longer. But Mike really is a good character. Especially in season 4 both he and Will were totally sidelined to focus on other character arcs ( Hopper in Russia, Max as a main target in Hawkins and El learning her past in the lab that pretty much started to what happened in Hawkins and the Upside Down.

it would be so cool if season 5 flashes back and shows us more of Will in the upside down

I have multiple theories for you - to help which the theory that Alice is actually Karen wheeler is that in the flash back when Alice is being tormented by Henry, you can see the same box with the ballerina that Nancy has in her room and her mum could have given it to her

I think vecna picked Will because he felt so different, and he secretly ended up resenting having el around because things started to change, even though they got closer that repressed resentment would still be known by vecna, maybe. Sadly I think El will be the one that sacrifices herself, possibly in the place it began. I'd prefer no one to die, it sucks 🤦‍♀️💔 thank you for the update 😊❤.

We need Shadow Brenner (The Mind Flayer’s form) from Stranger Things VR to make an appearance in S5. To further show the dynamic between the partners in crime Vecna and The Flayer with them being “friends” just like Darth Sidious would call Darth Vader his “friend” in Star Wars. @@grasshopper2802 Too many have been hating Will and Noah for so long. I've seen old video comments where so many are totally against Byler and it's a blame game with guess who. Anyway last year in October because he posted on instagram that he's against Hamas ( yeah me too, I mean they are a terrorist organization ), so that means he supports genocide? He never posted anything after that until January in a video to explain his thoughts and beliefs have been so far misconstrued ( totally misunderstood and misinterpreted, he cares about all innocent people including Palestine ). But I have no idea why these people seem to support Hamas who managed to kill thousands of innocent Israelis and Jewish people back in October. Anyway he hasn't done anything wrong as far as that goes but I 've seen people boycotting and canceling him from 2 years ago after season 4 came out. It's just very sad.
