Im so sad it’s ending. I remember when I started watching it and I absolutely loved it. I watched the season 3 finale in Greece. Hope there will be many spin-offs.

Season 1 was good. Like Alien. Season 2 was better than the first. Like aliens. Season 3 was the worst of the 3, but it was by no means terrible, it was watchable and it was a pretty good conclusion besides the sequel bait at the end (very annoying, they should’ve just ended it here and had hopper die. Ik I should so miserable.) I guess it’s pretty similar to aliens 3. and then season 4 was just.. bo-womp sound effect Vecna was very much “rats, those darnded kiddos escaped again. I’ll get them next time…” couldn’t take him seriously. Power of music was also a liiiiitle silly but it was alright ig. Also, made the fandom really goddamn annoying. ‘Chrissy!’ This and ‘wake up!’ That. Master of puppets was fun to hear. I dunno if it’s comparable to the alien franchise, I got like 5 minutes into movie 4. If you couldn’t tell I’m scared for season 5

That actress does resemble young Winona Ryder, but a lot of us older people know exactly what she looked like at that age. She's been around since she was a teenager, for all of you kids who only know her from Stranger Things.

The new actress does look really similar to young Winona- I may have first really known her from stranger things (and beetlejuice) but I’m still a Winona fan and have watched a decent amount of her early work (heathers is such a good movie)

Happy that they are doing the play it's supposed to give clues to the 5th season...Do Hopper and Joyece know more about Henry Creel than they have said or do they connect the dots in the 5th season that Vecna/ Mind Flayer / One leads to Henry? I'm looking forward to the 5th season I'm a little disappointed that Will is going to have more screen time I feel they showed his struggles during season 4 but it did start with his disappearance. I think Elle is going to end up leaving in the end and go on to the Upside-down so she can keep the creatures there under control and her friends safe.

I do wish they don't focus on Will's sexuality tho and just focus on the fact that He's actually such an Important part in the show due to the fact he has been in the upside down and can *feel* when creatures from the upside down are around and he *was* possessed by the mind flayer. So Yeah. That's BIG Stuff! I also Love the scenes where he feels something at the back of his neck, it's Awesome like when Harry would feel pain in his scar in Harry Potter and etc.

What are they gonna do for this show? Is it gonna be like a teen drama type of thing cause these characters didn’t know anything about the paranormal activity

Maybe. We don't really know her backstory. Maybe she moved from Hawkins to California, met the man who would become Max's dad, something happened to him, and she met and married Billy's dad.

@@rachelsheppard9122 she could either have participied to mkultra before moving from Hawkins in order to finance her studies in california, or having participied while being in california if the program had a branch there when it comes to Sam Mayfield (max's dad), from what you can learn in the novel Runaway Max, you can assume that they got married, Max is born and they formed a united family for 10+ years, the cause of the divorce is unknown but there are hints such as both having opposite life choice (professionally and for pass times), after that she had around 5 short living relations before meeting Neil Hargrove Anyway, Sam Mayfield was much better as a father than Susan as a mother, for him his daughter was always coming first and he teacher her many usefull things (even against Vecna), by season 4 they have had little contacts for 18 months

After watching Gen V from The Boys universe, I'm excited to see a well done spin off series of Stranger Things now.

A play is a show; it doesn't say "tv show"; a stage show is still a show. "Movie show" (or "film show" or "picture show") and "radio show" are also English phrases. Albeit, it is disappointing that it is not a tv show.

The age difference doesn't really matter. When you're watching a stage play, it's totally different than watching a tv show. It just doesn't feel as weird having older people playing younger characters, or younger people playing older onces

@@nikfabbi87 It would matter if they were changing Henry's cannon age, but that's not what they're doing. He was supposed to be 12, and in theatre getting someone a few years older to play a role isn't weird at all. When you watch it unless they're super tall or something it doesn't feel strange in the same way it does when it's tv and you're watching them really up close.

I believe Stranger Things is definitely going to become the next big pop culture franchise. It has already established itself and has been around for over 7 years which is crazy. Imagine how big it would’ve been if it had been multiple movies, I mean it’s already super popular but imagine how many people would’ve watched if it appeared in cinemas. In my eyes it may just become the next Star Wars in a sense. Just with the Duffers hopefully making better decisions than George Lucas selling it to a corporation like Disney and hiring terrible executives, which ultimately ruined it. Therefore I believe that spin-offs are likely to happen after season 5 of the show.

i dont think the joyce character's young version looks as much like her as you think she does....their noses are completely different. New girl has a wider flatter nose, winona has a thinner pointier nose.

My friend auditioned for Henry Creel but didn’t get a call back and in the criteria to apply you need to be over the age of 16. Plus he got an email with loads of confidential information with preview dates e.c.t he showed it to me and I know the preview date.

I'm kind of happy for new stranger things, but I'm really worried that it's just going to ruin the original because there's going to have to be some weird stuff happening when they were all kids that none of them said one word about in the original show. So either they're going to have to break the Canon or they're going to have to do some stupid prequel movie shit where they all lose their memories in the end oh

Isabella looks like if Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder had a child. She is quite beautiful, and could play a good joyce EDIT or Brett copper mixed with Johnny

Probably 2025: they’re gonna start shootings in January 2024, they’ll likely end six-seven months later, then a year or post production and… boom.

I still don't know what this show is supposed to be about. The adult characters learned about the upside-down and the world of the supernatural in the events of season one. So, are we just going to watch them be normal teenagers in high school?? No supernatural stuff????? I really hope that this show is actually going to be about the MK-Ultra stuff and young Henery Creel, and Joyce, Hopper and Bob are all going to be secondary or even tertiary characters. I don't want their stories to be retconned to place them in the middle of some supernatural event, but I also don't want to see just a boring regular ass show about high schoolers. I want to see some Stranger Things horror.

Agree. However, in the play they look alike but only because of wigs, makeup and outfits.

If they going to tell the story about the characters parents when they were now I'm getting this vibe that they're going for the time travel it will be a Terminator reference and back to the future reference Season finale stranger things season 5 the final season is going to get a time travel somehow and it will change the timeline I'm sure this is going to happen

If they want to go way back since their parents were young they should use time travel for example to avoid vecna from doing damage to innocent people so they could stop him somehow and they could reunite their parents to save the future and also from preventing vecna from harming others why not stranger things Shadow as a prequel for time travel and then a spin-off could take place in the future somewhere in the beginning in the early 2000 why not that is not that bad as an idea

I just hope they don't overdo it.
