This is horrifying. An accidental DPH experience I had several years ago has completely scared me off from deliriants. I had pretty bad insomnia from coming off Lexapro and tried several things to sleep, from a warm shower to smoking some weed to relaxing videos. Eventually, I turned to benadryl, taking two first. Nothing happened, two more. Nothing. Continued taking more, probably 250-300mg total. Now this isn't usually enough to cause full blown delirium but my god was it weird. Visual glitching and things in the corner of my eyes in my dark room, occasional distant sounds. Closing my eyes resulted in strange vivid visions kinda like a daydream, but much more vivid and rapidly shifting. Eventually did fall asleep thankfully, waking up feeling groggy and exhausted. At the time, I was unaware of the hallucinogenic effects of benadryl. I've also taken shrooms several times and it was the polar opposite. Enjoyable, insightful, introspective, helped me realize what I was doing wrong in life. A bad shroom trip is usually just a hard to accept learning experience. A datura trip is just chaotic and horrifying with no potential benefit.

Don't know why but photos taken in the US over often feels liminal to me. Just like it was taken by old analog camera, with very soft light that was near camera so everything more far looks like drowning in soft shade. Don't know why, maybe it'd because I never was to USA but even when im watching guy that is repairing car outside his house I really often feel this weird thing. Just like light was different. Like us was artificial. Just like in langoliers by Stephen King.

When I first smoked weed I felt like I was high for an entire week straight. I think persistent trip can be a real thing. I've done LS D and Shroom s but I never experienced a persistent trip with those. Although with LS D I did experience a time loop but it wasn't like the persistent trip

I have drank this forbidden tea and just for an extra kicker I took ten corriciden before drinking the tea. And I drank a heap of tea made from two flowers and three leaves. Craziest delierent Ive ever took. The hallucinations were crazy I would fall in and out of lucid dreaming and when I awoke it would be mid dream n I would quickly realize I was still thinking I was dreaming and try to shake it off but quickly doze off again into another round of disappearing friends and cigarettes constantly looking for my dropped ciggs and disappearing friends. And strange situations awake and asleep never knowing whether I was in dream or awake. Wild as fuck. Wouldnt recommend and this is coming from an experienced psychonaut.

I ate one big leaf last night. At one point I was seeing and talking to people who weren't there. The floor was waving and I thought "Did I take acid and forget?" I couldn't move, it felt like I was paralyzed. And everything close to my eyes are still blurry. I can barely see what I'm typing. I cant wait for my vision to return to normal and I'm NEVER taking it again

As a closer, I feel like some of these images don’t bother/hypnotize me nearly as much as it does for others. I was a Starbucks closer, so I’ve seen many empty stores at night, with no music on, and I’ve also worked as a closing receptionist at a car dealership, which can be a little eerie, and having to do normal activities after getting off work expose me to a lot of empty places. But I’m used to it at this point, and so I’m used to a lot of this imagery.

i hope visual snow is researched more soon, i have had it as long as i can remember and i have never taken any psychedelic before. all my life i really thought it was how all people saw the world until a few years ago. im pretty sure its not even considered a real illness cause nothing can prove someone has it,but it is 100% real. its especially bad when my eyes are closed, if its dark, or if im staring at a solid color like a clear blue sky.
