Just a gentle reminder that Rise and World are basically in two different series. Wilds was always going to be a sequel to World, with some experimental features of Rise _maybe_ getting implemented if they fit. Likewise, the next game after Wilds will be a sequel to Rise, with some mechanics from Wilds _maybe_ implemented if they fit.

Jasnah has a very pragmatic broad view of the world and from her perspective there is no reason to set up fixing kharbranth since it is a city full of scholars dedicating a lot of money to hospitals and medicine on top of the fact that she is a foreign dignitary it would be too time consuming to set about trying to fix the problem of crime in kharbranth when her mind is pointed at what she would describe as much larger problems. The most good, for the most people, as quick as she can

I've played them all. Just my opinion, greatsword is the easiest to use due to having one main moveset but very difficult to master since it's very slow and lacks mobility. All the others are semi complicated to learn the various moves and combos, but once you figure it out, you're already good to go.

I keep accidentally ending his archangel form prematurely by using his Y attack to side-step and use his ranged attack. I swear im not holding it down.

Honestly never saw the point in Warfarer because you don't get any more space for skills, you're stuck with a very limited amount of skills so its just like a couple incomplete vocations rather than one full vocation. Aside from leveling all vocations at once its useless IMO. the other vocations are far more powerful because they are allowed to do what they do WELL

all i want in mh wolds is for the restock and weapon change on quest to be removed so hunters arent way to op to the point where only 1 shots are the balancing option. thats bad game design

I somewhat wonder if MHW and Wilds decided to hide monsters instead of simply showing them. Sure it would be more grind and bit of a hassle for some but would be cool to find the monster you need and then SOS when on that expedition where other players can see what monster was SOS’d. Would make looking around and experiencing the map more part of it imo.

I would say that kinsect glaive is rlly hard to use for beginners because most of them dont know the parts to use their kinsect on the monster to get the three effects, i would put it at medium difficulty for that

Beat the psp game and 4u on 3ds as a hammer main. Also beat mhw and 50% of iceborn with it. Until i picked up switch axe a few day ago. Really great fun to play something else for a change!

Who the fuck wanted more narrative. You can have a good setting and a compelling game without a narrative. Monsters hunter is simply not the game for such a thing

I've been using the IG for as long as I can remember. Before it was released I used DB/LS exclusively, and since... Generations, I think? I've been maining IG and nothing else. It's just so satisfying to use, and gets better with every release. Worlds was great. Iceborne was phenomenal. Rise is comically good, and I can only imagine what they've done with it for Wilds. I really love it for MP as well, since I can build for paralysis (glaive), poison (Kinsect) and sleep (with my palico), on top of easy clutch claw antics (with CC Boost) and on-demand mounts to proc all manner of CC and keep the monster under my control control. No other melee build can boast such a consistent degree of annoyance. 😂

I'm pretty sure Lance is the easiest to learn. What's easy is that unlike other weapons, you don't really have to learn combos. What's hard is that you have to learn how to close distance efficiently without sheathing by using your lunge attacks. In essence, the weapon is about learning movement instsead of attacks, and I think that gives an even better foundation for players to learn other weapons.
