Well the World and Iceborne demos were only available on PS4, so they weren’t available for everyone, hopefully though we all get a demo this time! It’d would be a step backwards for Capcom if the demo was only available at the event

Back then when World first had their 3 days demo, they announce that they extended for another day due to its large majority of players playing the demo. MHWild will have demo on all platform for sure. MHR demo did that before.

Rise? Wrong game lol, kind of love that you left that in. It's a dark goo, maybe it's tar from MH4U or a new status ailment. The monster that may be the flagship reminds me of the old flying wyvern concept art for zinogre. It's nothing like the magalas because it only has 2 legs and 2 wings, not 4 legs and 2 wings, so it being in that pose reminds me more of barioth. If that's the case, he's using the tigrex skeleton and he can fly, so barrioth isn't the only one. That will be awesome. We haven't gotten a new monster like that since 3rd gen so it's about time we did. With the creepy vibe they have with a lot of the monsters, i would also expect gigginox to finally make a return. it hasn't come back since MH3U. imagine a small monster vs. large monster turf war where giggis or zamite all latch onto a large monster, flopping all over it as it tries to shake them off.

would love to see a spear as a new weapon on it own and not incuded with the insect glaive

The spear you pointed out early on made me think of a weapon idea like a spear and shield that has a mechanic to put the shield on the bottom of the spear to have a blunt end.

Spear and shield… hmm… like lance? lol I get it though, maybe something half between lance and insect glaive. I wish IG was just a glaive because the aerial stuff and bug seem too unrealistic to me. I’d love a moveset for a glaive kinda half spear and half longsword

@@johancito16345 assault rifles, dinosaurs, and God / gods are all things that do or have existed. How does the insect glaive function? It’s basically magic much more than the other things you mentioned. I get maybe it’s the MH version of falconry with a glaive, but the moveset doesn’t clearly illustrate that in my opinion

At 2:11 you can see a bug where we can use the grappin like in MH world under the pilar in the background

The spear on the npc is either cosmetic, or it might become part of our toolkit? (Like slinger etc)

Okay.... Hear me out. So if the mount will auto dodge there has to be a gameplay reason. This means long bouts of mounted movement and combat where you will need this. Because if not it only ensures that the bird will jump right in front of monster attacks. You know, they need the help it's only 6 v 1.

Tbh an entirely new monster would hit much harder, wilds shouldn’t be limited to old ideas for immensely impactful fights.

I was curious bout cross saves since a bunch of streamers will transition to pc when it releases so that kind of sucks for streamers a peeps with console and pc. But I’m hyped for this game. Idk why but I’m still hooked on World. I love Rise but I can’t get enough of World bc it’s still a challenge after all the years of playing

I have wildcard tickets for gamescom , i Tell you how good the game is when i was there😂

Part of me is wondering if the marketing cycle is so long because they want to wait until after the switch successor title drops so they can get it across all platforms on launch. My guess is NO, but it is possible. For one, it wouldn’t allow for the early demo we are expecting (I mean it COULD but you get what I mean). Second, even giving Nintendo the benefit of the doubt, I hope this game is a real beast and the switch is famously not built like that. That is why it got the handheld title of last gen, not the main game. Third, Nintendo’s online is god awful so it might ruin cross platform play for other systems if it was infected by Nintendo servers. Still, from a financial standpoint it makes sense. It will (historically speaking) be the hottest console drop of this generation and it would be an incredible launch title. I would be surprised if it couldn’t handle the game, and Capcom devs absolutely have their hands on the development tools for it so anything is possible.

The demo only gonna be at gamescom though

Crossplay is the most incredible thing that could've happen to this IP. Holy fucking shit, i don't need to play at sub 60fps/sub 1440p on the ps5 just to have the biggest community. Finally PC is the only way to play.
