I absolutely love playing as Seofon, it took me a while to get used to him, but now he's one of my favorites! Have you tried any of the new sigils on the rest of the characters? Which characters do you think got the best new sigils?

This was a good in-depth guide for Siete (Seofon). It feels good to finally play another character I actually like aside from Id, but one of my main gripes about him is the Swordshine gauge as it cannot be saved. In a way, I find it strange how the Avatar can be manually turned on/off to save meter, yet, the SS is not maintained, making it come across as an oversight from the developers, ESPECIALLY, if you accidentally press Y to deactivate when in the mental state of doing a combo. Resulting in a loss of progress over a bizarre choice in design. I can’t help but feel stupid over something that is more of an inconvenience that punishes the player for making a mistake.

Yeah man, I personally found it ridiculous how they implemented this mechanic of activating and deactivating Avatar mode with the same button. Sometimes you can barely see your character during combat and it becomes extremely easy to lose track in the middle of a combo, especially when there's a Tweyn shooting a thousand arrows filled with extravagant special effects.

yeah that's my main issue with this boy ... really I want to love him and enjoy his playstyle but damn I cancel him sooooooo many time because the game is some time not reactiv to the Y so you double tape it and it summon and cancel him , or you think it's the finisher but it was not and you lose your whole gauge when it miss one pixel of charge before the avatar finisher , in the end I enjoy Song way more because she isn't feeling as clumsy as Siete :(

Great job on the guide (like all the others)! I've been out of the game for a while but I really like the seofon character so I just needed to play again! But how do you get the seven-star boundary sigil and the spirit edges? Thanks!

I did parsing with Seofon in Behemoth and I found what works for me best which allows Seofon to constantly hit above 300k dps. Get the awakening sigils and add another supplementary damage sigils. I don't like Tyranny especially cause you need to compensate it with Aegis, rather than that I'd prefer something like Life on the line, and put one quick cooldown, Get a cascade 4 wrightstone to max out your cascade level, this will help a lot in your rotation for all your skill cooldown. Improved dodge works wonder for him, if you're a good enough player then instead of improved dodge, get an uplift. Seofon really don't need stout heart if you already have his warpath. Warpath + gamma is enough to make you immune to small chip damage. XX + YY combo is the best!

Hello ! After a bunch of testing, i found at that the combo X X Y Y actually deals more damage, and is a little bit faster for grinding the jauge because of its quick animation. Also, you jump very high while doing it, which make you dodge a lot of attacks ! Its my personnal bread and butter combo :)

Another tip for Seofon i just like Percivlle you can dodge right after the combo finisher to cancel the long animation after.

Was playing as seofon with my friend against Lucilus and we hit him with SBA triple full burst in a row and ended fight straight away after the celestial fusion phase lol

I actually JUST showed this to my friends. He plays exactly like Gran/Djeeta being able to fit in power strike anywhere in the combo before ending with combo finisher. Gran's/Djeeta's best route is XXYXY>Y(hold)

Thanks for the knowledge, after checking he can do it with the first 2 combo finishers, so for example, you can do XYXYY, you can also keep doing x to reach the last combo, like XYXXYY and it will end in the 4 hit combo so you can do the avatar finisher.

Little tip but like a lot of other characters you can keep your avatar finisher in storage if you wanted to do it but the monster moved, with improved dodge it's even better, just spam dodge until you reach the monster and you'll be able to hit him

Where do you actually get the warpath and boundary sigil? Haven't saw it yet on transmarvel.

I got Lucky I have a Damage Cap with Steel Nerves so I can use Stout Heart as a Defensive Sigil and people found out that Stout Heart gives a 25%(30% with Defense Tree Bonus) Damage Reduction and if you use Steel Heart you get around 40% Damage reduction, with Seofon's Warpath might be worth swapping it out I just can't reliably use Avatar Finisher every 30 seconds on some bosses Even with low HP I've been lucky to survive with a good chunk of health from attacks (I even took 699,999 damage from Super Nova as Siegfried was pretty funny)

War path is actually a dps lose on Siete! Doing your xxyy combo is most optional. I did like 40mil without warpath. The fact that you have to dump your swordshine is a HUGE dps lose. Everything else seems good! Nice guide

Warpath is weird because it's a straightup dps loss in parsing, but in fights that last long enough to get link time, the enhanced damage is crazy. Although Seofon is already absolutely ridiculous during linktime, so it's probably overkill at that point

Yeah he's awesome! If you don't have the Lucilius sigils simply go for Damage Cap+ with good utility traits like Stun Power, Improved Dodge, Nimble Onslaught, Potion Hoarder, Guts, etc.

Are there alternatives for the sigil if you dont have alpha, beta, or gamma?

U can also use real money to buy seofon and tweyn

Seven Star is purchased from Siero (Treasure Hunt on the second page with all the other warpath sigils). You'll need a lot of Behemoth clears for the mats. Spirit edge, iirc, comes with the 4.99 DLC pack you can buy that gives you the weapon essences needed to unlock Seofon (or Tweyen) outright without grinding Behemoth at all.

I do believe its been tested that his hidden combo is the best one to use. XYXYY. Also during link time you want to skill spam not use avatar finisher. If you know link time is foming soon you can waste gauge early to get the buffs ready for linktime then you can skill spam since you get the gauges back immediately in link.

yes its good cause it bypasses damage cap so basically more damage the only downside side is that some warpath sigils just arent that good or theyre very niche

They're good in general. May not seem much but it's treated the same way as War Elemental; calculated AFTER every other "flat" damage boosting skills (tyranny, LoL, stamina, etc) so long as you meet the conditions. Seofon's in particular is odd since it kinda gimps his dps than anything far as I tested. Not even Narmaya's warpath levels of odd where it's a playstyle change where you focus on normal attacks than SBA spam with uplift, his is just.... odd.

Eventually can i replace a stamina + with another tiranny +? To max the damage output?

I wouldnt run his Warpath nor use the Avatar Finisher. While its a good buff, the finisher does absolutely terrible damage and is really only worth it in link time

There seems to be a problem with the level lock horns. I have been trying to get the crown of lament . i’ve done it over 10 times and it hasn’t dropped. So I’m just gonna have to wait until they fix it to start playing again.,

Nah, they just have low drop rates, I got more than 100 just by doing AFK farming.

9:16 Just tested myself, it's worse. Not only can it be a casted once, and has a long Cooldown of 7-8mins. But if you ever die/get downed. The Cooldown resets. Meaning you'll have to wait to use that move again. You can bypass the reset for a bit with Autorevive (tried it myself) but again, if you die, the Sever Star skill *WILL* reset. NOT WORTH IT.

Is he just a better version of Katalina? His moves look super similar which I thought was kinda lame.

Imo is a worse version with better animations. You have no super armor at all, the finisher sometimes bugs out and misses and the bar takes eons to fill. Seofon is imo what you get by mixing the worst parts of Id and Katalina kits with extremely nice animations

I expected for him to have a good dps but jesus... same build Katalina and Same build Seofon will tell you the answer.... dam*t I wasted hours of grinding for him... Totally fair! I'd say swap out the Lucilius sigils for Dmg Cap+ that have the utility trait you like. Replacing them with Damage Cap5+ isn't going to result in a huge DPS loss, I believe it's less than 12%

This Caracter doesnt work at all for me on aside from Bosses without movement. On Behemoth you can barely ever get to finish your combo, Avatar runs out before it finishes usually. Takes ages to get any bar filled.

You don't need a vitality wrightstone on Seofon. With one crit rate sigil and crit overmastery you're at 100%

I didn't try to purposefully bloat the video but I can totally see what you mean. neither of the 3 are any good, Tweyen's burst damage is lame.

Yo can you make a sigil guide for people that havent already 100% beat the entire game and have absolutely no reason to watch these videos as they have all the best items, sigils, etc.? Kinda absolutely dumb you didnt include a "Sigils for Seofon before you beat the entire game" section.

This game sucks. I'm so disappointed that I wasted my money on it. It's another failed attempt at trying to be Monster Hunter.

There are only 2 wrong things with this guide. That build is poorly optimized. You dont need stamina if you already have Tyranny, you are way over the damage cap, meaning you are losing damage, another thing is the rotation, it goods look on paper, but it is really bad depending on the boss. Some bosses take too many hits before you can fill their stun gauge or move too much, it works on the training dummy, but other rotations are better depending on the monster.

I'm gonna have to disagree here. 1 Tyranny sigil does not hit the damage cap for Seofon. I tried different combinations with Combo Booster, Combo Finisher, Life On The Line etc. and this is what I found to consistently hit the damage cap
