After I quit drinking, I remember it took about half a year for me to feel normal. It took about 2 months for the night shocks, Horrifying dreams, and extreme anxiety/paranoia to subside. My point is, it takes some time to return to a normal physical/mental/emotional/spiritual state. It was absolutely terrifying to me going through those first few weeks/months without alcohol. But overtime, I started to feel a peace, and positive feelings/emotions and it was so awesome, I could feel my body/mind returning to health, like before I started drinking. Glory to God. Edit: I would also like to add, when we're in that scared/anxiety paranoid state, like you mentioned in this video- strange negative things happen, like the guy leaning in your car, or the crazy guy in the ER. It's like the devil is trying everything to make us pick up a bottle and drink. In my experience, these negative moments tend to always compile other negative events, kinda like an avalanche effect. Take care brother, God Bless 🙏

I’m glad you are learning from ur experiences. That’s why alcohol is called SPIRITS. It takes over ur whole personality. 80% of MURDERS are committed under the influence of alcohol. I used to drink socially but I quit over 20 years ago. My judgment was not great even drinking socially so I just stopped. I thank God. YOU ARE WAY TOO SMART NOT TO RECOVER PERMANENTLY. Glad to have met you here. Don’t apologize for having to cut ur vid short. You have responsibilities to take care of. You’re doing a great job at narrating ur experiences here too. I didnt know they said each relapse gets harder. From what ive witnessed though makes sense. However the biology/science/whatever youd call it, i dont understand. Every alcoholic in my family has relapsed at least once. I understand why detox would be necessary if one relapsed and got back to their old habits becoming physically dependent on alcohol again. Seizures, DT's, the whole nine yards. I don't understand how one night of binge drinking would cause the need for detox? Cause at that point one's body isn't dependent on it, right? At the beginning its all mental. After so long is when your body cant function. Obviously my assumption is wrong, but i just dont get that?

My mom has been an alcoholic for decades. She's in her mid 60s and technically homeless but sleeping on my couch for the last four years. I've seen her near death many times. She still goes back to drinking. Her alcoholism is an open secret. My warning to you is that if you value yourself for who you are, whatsoever, do not let drinking continue in your life. You will lose anything and everything about yourself. You seem like a smart young man. You can do this! Do not give up! I highly recommend vagus nerve exercises. Search it on KZread. Also reishi mushroom powder. It had an incredible calming effect and is great for the immune system! Blessings on you. 🙏

Relapse is part of the journey!! AA/NA is being more than half honest and doesn't tell it's members that they are eventually going to relapse so when they do relapse they become very hard on themselves and feel guilt and shame. Same as any religion or cult!! And most of the long timers and those who claim to be 20-40+ years sober are lying!! These 'self really righteous' long timers are lying and even if they haven't touched their 'drug of choise' they are using other substances or using legal highs. My mistake was chasing sobriety time instead of living in The Present Moment. It's not about how many days sober you have. Its about being Sober just for this moment!! . Quality of Life over quantity.!! Your a good man and I see it. Your good because your intentions are Pure and it's totally okay to struggle. Struggle is a gift!!

@@Slayer-7373 For me personally, I've just come to believe that wherever there is a face/human image/animal image (fictitious or not), there is a spirit/entity/energy in it. So I am VERY careful what I bring into my home nowadays. And for me, that means nothing with a face, or is symbolic of a human or animal. It's just my gut reaction. You are very brave to live your life on camera for the youtube viewers. I'm so glad you are supported by good-hearted people who show you great love and comradery.
