When I learned a while ago she past away I was very sad. Too young. I am glad she did wonderfull things in her short life. I am so sorry.
thank you for your acknowledgement! this aria would definitely be in my 30 best songs sung by patricia! i guess it could be stretched to 40 on a double album! other tracks should include, 'meine lippen', 'mein herr marquis' & 'the 'doll' song, all from the 2016 new year concert - maybe all 5 songs! also, 'pie jesu', 'think of me', 'summertime', 'rousalka' & 'oh mio babbino caro'! forgive any spelling mistakes! these are only my opinions, however but the most important song of all is, 'once upon a time in the west', which is probably the track that alerted us to this prodigious talent! putting 30 songs together & selling it to the uk should not be difficult at all, if the marketing is right! patricia's life story, presented in film, would be a real weepie but also filled with such joy!

William, I just love how deeply articulate your analysis of Dimash performance is. Phenomenal! If you compare it sometime to the original singer that this song was written and compose for, you will really see how special Dimash is. I have been following Dimash for 2 years now non-stop.

It so sorrowful that the music community lost such a incredible talent. My condolences to her family.
i'm a heavy metal fan but i could listen to most of patricia's songs because she had such a unique voice!! this aria is a real powerhouse performance by patricia which i think would have propelled her to the top of all the classical singers in the world! she had already given us a glimse of what was to come with her brilliant rendition of 'rousalka' which i believe she sang around the same time!! the real tragedy was that she was not just a phenomenal singer but she was a brilliant actress & dancer as well!! also, she could sing in several languages, including english, which would have augured well for her if she had designs on making it big in britain & america! sadly, it was not meant to be but her name must not be allowed to fade away like a leaf blown by the wind! a book, documentary, stage show & a film should all be written & put into production early next year, when the rawness of her death will not feel so heartbreaking! i'm sure there is somebody out there who is more than capable of putting this together! in the meantime, maybe a compilation cd/dvd of her best songs, 30? could be released, with the songs voted for by her fans!! i have the ideas but not the capital to make it happen but i'm always open to suggestions!! cheers!

I love your analysis, always appreciative and fair. You have a very nice vibe, calm, pleasant, positive. I'm mad about the garbage they started "writing" about Dimash, there is a campaign against him, The world is at war, and he is singing for peace, calling for love. Not everyone takes it lightly. In interviews he openly accused politicians of waging war now. That's why he loves the DEARS, they support each other, they bring goodness in the world. He is a very idealistic young man, but that's his charm. He works so hard, Dears are doing a lot, you are being so good, why do I have a feeling that something is missing. I wish you and your family all the best.
We live in a world in the brink of war. There the agenda of most politicians. Dimash speaks of peace and love. It is a brave man who does that.
This was actually a broadcast. The full concert is available. The type of production the Czechs did during the pandemic. Great stuff I have listened to this Quel guardo countless times, and I just love the performance. You mentionned her phrasing and particularly the pronunciation of the vowels. Magnificent indeed. Her Italian was so nice. And the few things she did in French was also good. Quite importantly, the best pronunciation of the word "amour" I have ever heard. How much do we miss Patricia...

pj had a young sounding voice which was so different to the wagnerian voices of over 35yo buxom classical women singers! patricia appealed to a younger audience because she was young, humble & pretty & acted like young women did! not forgetting she liked to listen to rock music as well!

An amazing vocal talent, honed by years of training. From what I read she started lessons very young indeed. She would have had a great career. And we'll listen over and over again to these precious nuggets marvelling at what was and thinking about what could have been. Cancer is so cruel. I look at the keyboard and I am sorry that it is not a grand piano. But at least it was recorded.
