William dear, you had me in tears in both songs, especially the Rose for your father’s funeral. Please may we have some more of you singing as your voice is so beautiful. Love of my life is also a very beautiful song and your voice just was wonderful! I love your critiques of Dimash as I’m a huge fan of this young man. Your critique of The pearl Fishers was moving as I had already shed tears of happiness for Dimash myself seeing how Placido obviously admires him. That will I hope, stop some of the jealous pickers in their tracks. I am an older lady from Western Australia and am very happy to be searching internet for the wonders of beautiful music out there in “internet land”. I am 87 yrs and always loved music. My father had a Lovely deep voice and would sing around the home, in the garden or wherever he was. Thank you for positive reviews for Dimash, he certainly is a wonder!!!

I'm Freddie's age, and while my musical tastes ranged from R&B, Motown, Beatles to Bob Dylan to Cream et al and California soft rock, glam rock was not part of my regular diet when I was young. Coming from Salzburg, I was also exposed to classical music and some of the greatest Opera singers of the days. But after seeing the movie BoRhap, I got curious about Freddie and Queen (not particularly enthralled by Rami Malek's impersonation) and promptly fell into a 4-year rabbit hole from which I was rescued last year by none other than Dimash. Mike Moran's collaboration with Freddie and Montserrat was fascinating to me because it spearheaded the evolution of the classical-rock/pop genre that is blossoming these days, especially with the musicalgenius that is Dimash. How lucky you are to have worked with Mike Moran (what year?) virtually rubbing shoulders with Freddie and producing such a beautiful rendition of Love of my Life.

That is such a kind and thoughtful review. Freddie was so wonderful. His voice is always recognisable, even after two words!! Mike was great and really looked after us making the album So Strong (Celtic Tenors). Knowing he was been so close to Freddie was so thrilling. It was.... 2002 I think!!!

I have never met William only conversed through here. He would be too modest to post this so I will do it for him William Can Delete if He Wishes too. Everyone one has a story... And its public info anyway. Niall Morris (born 1965) is an Irish classical singer and producer. Biography Born in Dublin, he studied music at Trinity College Dublin and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. He completed his studies at the National Opera Studio in London. He performed principally with English Touring Opera and the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company. Amongst the opera roles he has performed on stage are Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore, Davey in Jonathan Dove's Siren Song, Ralph Rackstraw in H.M.S. Pinafore, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Fenton in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Paris in La Belle Hélène, and Antonio in The Duenna. He created the tenor roles in Thomas Adès first opera Powder Her Face, which was released on EMI Classics and nominated for a Grammy (Best Opera Recording 2000). Morris was a founding member of the Irish singing group "The Celtic Tenors" who won the German Echo Klassik Award for Best Classical Crossover Artists in 2002. The group and made numerous recordings, notably at Abbey Road studios while signed to EMI Classics. Morris decided to leave the group in 2006, partly due to creative differences, and since then has worked as company manager for Opera Ireland as well as creating a biographical stage show about the life of opera legend Maria Callas which played for eleven nights at the National Concert Hall, Dublin. He also moved into opera directing in 2009. His production of Puccini's La bohème at Loughcrew Garden Opera was followed by a staging of La traviata starring Claudia Boyle and a reworking of Die Fledermaus. In 2015 Morris created a new stage show, The Puccini Scandal - an opera drama - which investigates the personal and artistic dilemmas of the great opera composer after the death of the maid Doria Manfredi. Niall Morris plays the role of Giacomo Puccini. Sources Lynch, Donal (24 February 2008) New notes on an old friend. The Independent (Ireland), . O'Riordan, Dick (15 November 2015). "Puccini scandal was the stuff of tragic opera". The Sunday Business Post Morris, Niall (2 January 2017). "Scandalous secret of the opera master". William is my middle name, Rob. I spent so much of my (previous) life trying to explain and spell my name (Niall). When I moved to Thailand in 2020, just before Covid, it was a great opportunity to start anew and choose the name I really love. I still get a great thrill out of being called William (my grandfather’s name) and feel it should have been me all along. When my 7 year old calls me “William” I giggle. Imagine trying to explain Niall to him. Ha!!! Thanks for posting my WIKI entry. - Will

I want to confess, that I am in love with your voice. How can you make Schubert from a simple song? The musical arrangement is genius, wonderful orchestra, but first of all, wonderful tenors. Your voice has so much romanticism, lightness and the chosen pace ist very pleasing, you just want to listen to it again and again. Where can I find your music online? I am imagining and listening to you and Dimash singing a duet of this song. It would be one of the most beautiful duets ever !!

William, you have a wonderful voice. Thank you so much for sharing. This is one of my favorite Queen songs. There is a cover of this song I think you would really like. It is by a Canadian singer named Marc Martel. In the movie Bohemian Rhapsody Marcs voice was used for some of the Freddy vocal performances. He probably sounds more like Freddy than anyone on the planet. I noticed you have not reacted to him and I think that is a shame. ~ Marc Martel - Love of My Life (Queen Cover) ~ kzread.info/dash/bejne/hnlrxNexna22oc4.html. By the way you are a lovely man and one of my favorite reactors.

It's most refreshing to be able to meet a reactor who knows his onions, not just those who ooh and ah, but hardly know what they are oohing and aahing about, or just wanting to jump onto a band wagon, or just over dramatizing their reactions. True reactors, that's what we are lacking, much love and thanks to you.

Oh gosh, Marc is my favourite! It'd be cool if you could interview him. Ask him what it was like to be in the vocal booth at Abbey Road recording vocals for the movie.

What a way to cement authority and knowledge to all your reactions. I've heard most of your reactions and reviews and have been impressed with your technical, vocal and musical knowledge as you delve into singers' abilities and talents. Now, to hear you actually demonstrating that you are able to apply those observations into your own craft just shows me what you really all about. Where might I purchase your "Night at the opera" album? I'd like to add it to my collection. ooh! and Michael Moran, his orchestral arrangement is sublime, superb and most endearing. Yes, very Schubertian indeed. Schubert was taken away too early. Otherwise, he would be able to make more of a mark with his compositional technique and genius. I have always thought no Rock band or electronic wizardry can compare to the subtlety of a piece superbly arranged for a group of traditional musical maestros playing traditional Strings, Brass, Woodwinds and Percussions, not forgetting the versatility of technically able, gifted and vocalists committed to their craft, performing together seemlessly, a combo that can never go wrong and will surpass all other forms of modern musical bells and whistles. Thanks for proving me right. You know? those talents you've reacted to could learn a thing or Three from you. Cheers mate! and stay blessed!
