I have both warm and cool lighting but my house is dark so that’s why 👍🏼 It will all change as soon as i paint a lighter color :)

As someone who does restoration on cast iron/cultured marble/porcelain/acrylic/fiberglass/ tubs and showers for ½ the cost of other pros. It isn't as easy as it looks but 35 years and we are still the best in the valley..I'm sorry I hadn't watched when u were doing it id have advised against

Within 3-1/2 years, I moved to 5 states: TX AL FL CA LA. I just gave my notice this week. I only keep my favorites, and I get rid of everything that can replaced for less than $20 or within 20 Minutes at Amazon. If I have 2 of anything, I get rid of the larger items, bec I only keep what fits in my 12 large Totes: 1 Art supplies 2 Bathroom/Laundry 3 Blankets, Pillows 4 Cat food litter toy 5 Clothes Fall, Winter, 6 & Spring, Summer 7 Cooking, Appliances 8 Dine, Place Settings 9 Docs, Books, Pics 10 Office/Study 11 Pantry 12 Work Tools

Have you considered changing out the bifold doors with a barn door or something else with more character?

You are lifting them two at a time. You can cut the paper on the end to split them apart.

Not only did you clean all this alone quite well I might add but as a mom you set up a temp table for your child to color and spend time .From a mom to a mom you’re doing great ❤

I find it weird how kitchen styling in the US is literally like 40-50 years behind the rest of the world…like this is the exact style we’re constantly ripping out in New Zealand due to it looking super dated, but everyone in America is still slapping in the exact same type of kitchens they have been for the last 80 years. If you look at kitchen design magazines in NZ and Australia they are light years ahead of anything of the “top end, flashy” kitchens found in current US ones

I hate these types of doors anyway. They're a pain to clean but get dusty if you don't and don't muffle sound very well. Use this as your excuse to replace them 😆

I love the art setup for the child in the midst of the clutter. What a beautiful, realistic depiction of parenting and living a normal life not fully curated for the camera. It’s so refreshing to see someone just doing their best

Thank you! Funny you mentioned that because Elvis caught that right on time before installing the dishwasher placement 🤣 it would of been a nightmare if he didn’t catch that. Now it’s able to open 🙌 so many little things as beginners we don’t think about till we get to it 🤯

Based on the floor special walnut would looks nice (I think) but I feel like you should do the back counters just so you can see the whole thing then decide Also gurll that filling in the the base board and crown molding made such a difference in my eyes.I'm so excited for the end product 😩🤞

Did you go look at the sinks in Lowe’s, Home Depot. I always go look touch feel the quality of things I’m gonna install. It’s a lot of work to do then the product turns to shit. Hilary how many plug outlets do you and Elvis have above the counter??? I only have 2 and that’s not enough to plug in small appliances and I hate it. When we complete our kitchen I want more that 2 outlets!! By the way THAT’S A BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN I LOVE ALL YOUR CHOICES

I usually go off of reviews but didn’t with the first sink which what a FAIL and DISAPPOINTMENT. 😩 Thankfully the second one turned out great quality. 🙌 we have 4 outlets by the counters. 2 on each side and 4 outlets on the kitchen peninsula. They do sell these things called outlet extender taps to give you more outlets from 1 if that makes sense. That’s what we had prior to renovating our kitchen. You can turn one outlet into 6. And they are inexpensive 😉
