I actively shoot Action Pistol primarily in IDPA & USPSA. I’ve done over 300 plus matches and shot 100k plus rounds… so I’m addicted. I genuinely enjoy creating content because I learn something new as well as get better in some manner… and it’s fun to interact with people who love this hobby/sport.

Nice push press reps!
Can't until someone gets sued because they pointed the gun at the camera and felt threatened. I hope this nevee happens. On a 70 inch Tv someone might duck
It’s supposed to be slick as I’m nothing sticking out real far like the safety and or the slide stop. Made to carry like a date night gun
Is it a trijicon? If not what brand do you use? Thsnks
MUCH safer way to decock- take your thumb and jam it in between the face of the hammer and back of the slide. When you pull the trigger, you will feel the hammer release just slightly. BEFORE removing your thumb, release the trigger. Now slowly remove your thumb and let the hammer slowly fall. You will notice with the trigger no longer pulled, the hammer will only fall to the half cock position. CZs with decockers actually dont fully decock- they fall to the half cock position and that is how you are supposed to carry the gun. Point being, super safe way to decock and carry. There are several videos out there that show this technique of decocking the Shadow 2 compact. Amazing gun!
I hear what you’re saying. But for the record per CZ… “A half-cock safety notch is on the hammer so as to prevent it from striking the firing pin when the hammer is manually cocked, and a thumb could slip. When the hammer is on the safety stop, it is not leaning against the firing pin stop, but its position is further back.” The design of that function was not to have another safety option to carry the gun. One other note, I’ve seen 3 instances where people’s hand/thumb slips (usually because it’s either really cold or they’re sweaty) that “half-cock” not catch it and bang 😬
Totally agree. This is how I carry it and decock it as well.
Why not actually use the safety. I put a widened safety on it. It's the perfect upgrade.
@@TheGentlemanGunnerI’m not sure what point you are making? The manual also literally says half cock is the all around safe way to use and handle the gun
@@jonah8133 my competiton mind took over, it was more of you either start with the safety on or DA… just game rules but not doesn’t necessarily translate to a practical application after re-reading it. I forget there are other ways for regular people to carry so I’ll own this
Without a decocker it doesn't seem practical to me...
Great review. I picked this one up last December. Probably my favorite current hammer gun. Not sure it will ever be a carry gun for me but one day maybe. Only issue I ran into was the recoil spring broke after various 500 rounds. I’ve seen the same breakage on at least another S2C. Thankfully a cheap fix thanks to CGW.
Quickly from this video I caught speed shooting! Terran tac all about speed from what I've seen on his videos. First was his quad loads on the benelli m4 TT model. Super fast reloads and accurate shooting. I held a viper being a by far rookie gun enthusiasts, but terran can make the best speed shooting guns around. Out of all you can actually air rack the viper as Wick did and that tells you proper weight, speed and accuracy matters being how many people constantly trying to hunt Wick. Main features you need for competition shooting. Speed and accuracy!
Comps are not that great if you need to shoot at night…after first round you can’t see crap, your nearly target blind.
If the grip texture is like on the specter, it sucks it’ll tear your shirt up really bad. I swapped mine out for a Wilson combat grip module.
6’2? What tape measures do they use in Texas?!?
Please say you think I’m taller 😂
@@TheGentlemanGunner you’re absolutely taller lol I’m 6’2”!
I bought my XC a couple months and it is a pure beast. I've also got the Leupold dot on it, and added a Surefire X300U. If you need a pistol in a combat situ, that's the one.
a gun review this week that wasnt bought, and paid for by SIG! NICE!!!!
Check gunbroker for the 15rd mags 👍🏻 they had a bunch last time I was on there.
Silver palmswell LOK Grips and their magwell would look awesome on that badboy 😎
I have the grips and magwell on order! Actually have their brass palm swells on my other one right now
@@TheGentlemanGunner sweeeeeeet! 😎 I’ve seen the brass ones, but I think they should make some silver ones to keep with the factory look, plus I’m a sucker for black and polished silver guns 😅 Henning flat trigger too?
@@Bryan-1980 actually went boring and did an Eeman Ultimate Trigger.
@@TheGentlemanGunner nice 👍🏻 I’ll be looking forward to it when it’s all done in it’s final configuration. Have great weekend brother
What's the link to the holster you used to carry this work of art.
Great video and nice shootin! Very interested in your mod choices should be cool to see. I'm conflicted if it makes sense to put performance or comp type springs in given I want to carry it. I'm leaning toward grips, optic, and light as it sits now just use shooting to smooth it out no spring upgrades it will be interesting to see your thoughts on that issue. Be well thanks.
I’m currently running it with 11lb recoil and 11.5lb hammer springs. It feels great with “gamer loads” … also have brass grips on it and it doesn’t really do that much other than I like the shape of it (palm swell). I felt the full-size S2 needed brass grips to balance it out (and it does)… but the S2C doesn’t have a ton of weight out front like its big brother.
Fair enough I find the stock springs feel good to me, but bet the trigger is bonkers with the reduced springs! I'm with you the Lok palm swells are fabulous although I like the nose heavy full size S2 so I skipped the brass but they look great! I went full gamer with an SRO hope you enjoy that massive cyelee or something else cool.
What optic do you like best for this firearm?
For the Video, I used a Cyelee Ghost. But as a carry, I’d like something smaller. I’d go Holosun 507c or Trijicon RMR
I highly recommend the 5 moa SRO! Bold for carry but it's awesome.
I have the RMR HD with the 3 MOA dot for carrying. Looks and works great!
I love my shadow 2 compact ❤
The volume of your videos are usually low and I am having to set my speaker to max most of the time. Still appreciate the content though!
I tried new wireless mic setup… and not sure if I’m going to continue with it. But I do appreciate you both saying something and watching!
Agreed. Thanks for mentioning, I noticed this too.
So glad I found your channel, always a pleasure and a wealth of great information. Thanks
Have one it’s a fast gun love it
Talking about modifications, I had United Firearms do their 4 port 'Granade' ports to my SC2. The result was dramatic, it almost shoots like it's big brother, almost.
Nice I’m sending mine to them soon for a nasty cerakote and port job as well.
Overhyped
Please elaborate
Fantastic carry gun! Fantastic gun overall.
The 1000rd Review is OUT! kzread.info/dash/bejne/qXiZk7iuqpTQiLQ.htmlsi=6gX22BGb_hyrcZGN
When's Sig going to come out with 30 round 365 mags? And when will Magpul come out with the 50 round drums?
Idk… but I want both 😂
Would the prodigy by idpa legal with the 507 comp ?
Aside from the Magwell in this video… yes.
Thanks for your quick response, I have all the upgrades that you have mentioned for the prodigy 4.25 and I just ordered the comp looks like a great fit. I also realized you answered my question in the video so sorry about that. Love your content keep up the great work
Which gun did you like better the P365 Legion or Fuse?
No contest for me, 365 AXG Legion.
I want to put the P365 Fuse slide and barrel on a P365 Legion grip module, and an extended slide release. Wish they sold the parts separately. Also would prefer the normal tritium sights instead of the fiber optics.
Look at Shilotek. They have very nice grip modules, slides, and barrels for just about any configuration you can dream up
Anyone who spends money on sig pistols is an ABSOLUTE M0R0N 🤡🤦🏻♂️ buy Walther/Glock/Canik If you’re looking for a superior quality semi automatic pistol
Got mine awhile ago. It took just one magazine to convince me that it is a fantastic shooter. I went from all over the target to shooting the center out of it at legal use range. The sights and trigger even allowed me to speed up and still have accuracy. I’m 70 with a heart condition and meds that affect my shooting but this pistol is awesome. It seems forgiving while still shooting accurately. Soon; very soon I will be using it as my EDC. I hope the popularity doesn’t drive the price up as I would consider a second for my family legacy.
I actually picked up a 2nd one a couple of weeks ago for just under $1200… so they’re starting stock them and prices are coming down a touch… but who know how long that will last. Regardless, congrats on the new gun!
Thanks for the video! I'm a new shooter. I shot my first USPSA match last week. it was hot and your hydration tip was on point. One of my squad mates pointed out that during my left to right reload I almost broke the 180. My next match is next week and I hope to do better!
That’s freaking awesome my dude! Keep at it and sounds like you nailed two things being safe (although almost a DQ 😅) and having fun!
Since we're just expressing our opinions I would say the Shadow 2C is a competition gun. If you want a carry-able with a decocker get the much lighter PCR, 15+1.
Very nice and informative video. Subbed. Even though I'm a Sig person and love 365 platform to death, I'd have to go with PX4. Beretta has just excellent QC and aftermarket support. Also extremely reliable. Too bad a lot of their newer guns lack aesthetic.
So basically macro xl?…. Sig becoming Apple 🤣
I think of it more of a 365XXL 😂
Nice review.!
Does the Fuse use a P365XL guide rod and spring or is it proprietary?
No, its longer
@@TheGentlemanGunner bummer :(. Thanks so much for the quick response
Just replace the 320 with the 365 already
Does the slide to frame fit have any wiggle?
None of these do. I mention that more in the individual reviews. Didn’t think to mention it in this video for what we reason
yeah yeah yeah: Sig 320 is a PO$ and now they lost one lawsuit.....NO one in their right mind will buy one now........ So now they are making a mid to full size pistol based on their micro FCU (marketing). It's a copetition for a G19Xmos or any of they new Springfields bigger cats...... What EV@@@@@@@.
How annoying is it you couldn’t put this in your recent comparison video? Haha
Very 😂 I literally got it Friday the day before the comparison video aired
Haha I figured it was a timing or release embargo issue. The price of this thing is quite impressive tho, you get all that and a way into their fcu platform for under $800, wow, although I always worry about sigs first runs (even tho I guess this isn’t).
@@JakeCamo yes I agree… in the original cut … I talked about how (because it was speculative from my perspective if it was going to be $730) I felt this was a slightly better value than the Tacops (although it had 4 mags, but because 21rd mags lol)
I own and carry all 3 of these guns and love each one for different reasons. The CZ S2C is a fantastic accurate and pleasant shooting gun with all the ergos of the S2 in a smaller lighter package. I’d compete with it if my main went down any day. It carries easily though a larger than the AXG. It can be a bit finicky with ammo and prefers nickel primers but I have 2, one tuned by CZ Custom and it’s competition ready with a light DA and a godly SA. The AXG Legion is a soft shooter with the integrated comp and is the thinnest of the bunch and therefore carries the smallest. Cleaning is easy and quick and thank God because it gets dirty. Really dirty quickly. Trigger is good for a stricker but no comparison to the other 2. Lastly, the PX4 is far and away the most reliable, not that the others are unreliable, just that Beretta made this mistake to work always and in 3,000 rounds I have never had a single failure. It is thicker than the other 2 and more expensive. The PX4 has a decker which I prefer though both the S2C and the PX4 are SA/DA again, my preference in a carry gun. The shooting experience with the PX4 is the most unique because of the rotating barrel but the S2C is great to shoot as well because of its low bore axis. You won’t go wrong with any of them.
Dang, we weren't sent one of these for the channel ! I guess we still have a way to go on subs. (-_-)
Currently in a state of analysis paralysis overthinking the purchase of a Px4 so I am wondering Which am I looking at here? Was this a LTT gun purchased from Langdon already decked-out with the RDO, trigger and the rest? Or -and this is the route I’m trying to decide is more economical - is this a Compact carry 2 from Beretta, then sent to LLT for that Ernest Magic? and just to confuse things more… the original compact is available from Beretta for an additional savings. I don’t think that’s this pistol but could be. cheers
It was acquired directly from LTT. If you’re looking install the parts yourself… their could be potential savings their as I’m not sure what they charge from LTTs side. But the RDO cut(along with optic mounting plate and front sight) is likely where it will most likely make sense to go directly to LTT
@@TheGentlemanGunner Thats what I suspected - yes RDO and trigger done at LTT would do it for me and get me there for less than a $k - thanks for the reply. Not many cerebral guntoober channels out there. Yourself and the Humble One are tops on my list!
Awesome styling, that’s what a pistol should look like!
Sig is a great marketing company!
