Interesting video but I can't finish it. All the line noise and buzzing in your signal path was driving me crazy.

Originally thought this would be a live sound video, but no. In easier way for “cutting the low frequency” would be add a high pass filter or make one that you can apply per channel Would save tons of time so you don’t have to eq each non bass channel. Great stuff

I have had 13 years of drum/percussion experience, been on tours with aspiring artists I went to highschool with from a small town in Canada, worked with dozens of B-listed old rock n roll Canadian bands well known still to this day, I’m a karaoke guy at a local bar, a tv news reporter for a local news station, wedding and shag dj on the weekends, with lots of other side projects on the go with my parents horse farm as well as other projects. I have so many feelings and ideas I’ve learned on the way, with good guidance on what to do and what not to do in terms of presenting myself and being kind to everyone I talk to. I wanted to put these words out here to tell myself to push through and write my own songs to see if anyone can relate. I haven’t written anything yet but today Saturday May 18th at 11:45 pm is the day that I’m going to finally persue my own vulnerabilities so that others may be able to relate to what I’m feeling. This comment is for myself, I’m going to start working on my own project instead of being behind the scenes of other arrogant artists who only want to make it into Hollywood (that actually is a real thing that makes sense to me).

To everyone who cannot get this to work right, try the free TAL Vocoder and make sure that the setting MIDI C / SC M is used in the vocoder - and, as Alex says, use the vocoder on the midi track that has the chords.

Can’t tell what’s more impressive … the original thing or the fact Alex reproduces it like it’s nothing and gives a detailed explanation on how he did it. Each their own genius.

Hello Alex. So I just subscribed to your channel. Listen: I know on one of your videos (I believe it was the 13 minute video about the ten chord patterns for ten different Emotions,) I made a comment about using diminished and augmented chords to spice up your progressions. And if it seemed like I was being critical, I will admit that I was a bit. That being said, if you talk about those types of chords in your EDM Boot Camp Course, I would love to here you put those types of chords into action. Even if it is just one small video. With all that said, your journey sounds amazing. And I too love Electronic Music. This video was released in 2018. It is now 2024. I hope you are doing OK. Inflation is way out of control for everybody. So times are very tough. I do not have a career in making music. But I do make music just for fun. I do a lot of video game covers. I have a Yamaha PSRE463 keyboard and I do a lot of midi programming in Reaper (which is my DAW of choice.) And my software VSTS I like to use are: Synth1, Surge XT, Magical 8Bit Plugin Version 2, and Genney which is a 16Bit Mega Drive VST. If you want, you can check out my KZread channel where I post mostly my music, but there are some game plays as well. Anyway, if you have any questions, you can let me know and I will try to answer them. Check out my channel at the following link. www.youtube.com/@johnfollis2357
